A liquid crystal display includes: a first substrate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and including liquid crystal molecules, a gate line positioned on the first substrate, a data line positioned on the first substrate and crossing the gate line, a first thin film transistor and a second thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line, a third thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the second thin film transistor, a reference voltage line connected to the third thin film transistor, and a pixel electrode including a first subpixel electrode connected to the first thin film transistor and a second subpixel electrode connected to the second thin film transistor.

A display device including a substrate, a gate driver disposed on the substrate and including a plurality of stages, a clock signal line disposed on the substrate, and transmitting a clock signal to at least one of the stages, a transistor disposed on the substrate, and a light blocking layer disposed between the substrate and the transistor and overlapping the transistor. The clock signal line includes a first conductive line and a second conductive line overlapping the first conductive line, and the first conductive line is disposed in the same layer as the light blocking layer.

A photomask includes; a source electrode pattern including; a first electrode portion which extends in a first direction, a second electrode portion which extends in the first direction and is substantially parallel to the first electrode portion, and a third electrode portion which extends from a first end of the first electrode portion to a first end of the second electrode portion and is rounded with a first curvature, a drain electrode pattern which extends in the first direction and is disposed between the first electrode portion and the second electrode portion, wherein an end of the drain electrode pattern is rounded to correspond to the third electrode portion; and a channel region pattern which is disposed between the source electrode pattern and the drain electrode pattern, wherein a center location of the first curvature and a center location of the rounded portion of the end of the drain electrode pattern are the same.

A liquid crystal display includes a plurality of data lines and a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix, wherein the plurality of pixels include a first pixel and a second pixel, and each of the first pixel and the second pixel includes a first subpixel electrode and a second subpixel electrode, a first switching element, a second switching element, a third switching element, and a voltage-changing capacitor, wherein a first source electrode on the first switching element and a second source electrode on the second switching element from the first pixel are connected to a data line, the first source electrode and the second source electrode of the second pixel are disconnected from the plurality of data lines, and the two terminals of the voltage-changing capacitor of the second pixel are shorted to each other.
