    Abstract: A display device includes a display substrate and a printed circuit board (PCB). The display substrate includes a display area to display an image, and includes a pad area outside the display area. The PCB is bonded to a surface of the display substrate in the pad area. The PCB includes a base film, first terminal wires positioned at the base film, second terminal wires positioned at the base film, first sub-pad terminals electrically connected to the first terminal wires through contact holes formed in the base film, and second sub-pad terminals directly and electrically connected to the second terminal wires without contact holes. The first sub-pad terminals and the second sub-pad terminals are alternately arranged. The first terminal wires and the second terminal wires are, in a view normal to the surface, spaced apart from one another.

    Abstract: A display module includes a display panel including a display area and a non-display area, an upper prism layer including a plurality of parallel upper prisms at a lower surface thereof, wherein the plurality of the upper prisms are parallel to one another, a lower prism layer including a plurality of lower prisms at a lower surface thereof, wherein the plurality of the lower prisms are parallel to one another and extend in a substantially perpendicular direction to the upper prisms, and an adhesive part which is at a side of the upper prism layer and is adhered to the lower prism layer and the non-display area of the display panel, wherein the adhesive part fixes the upper prism layer and the lower prism layer to each other.

    Abstract: A display device according to an exemplary embodiment includes a display panel including a bending portion, and a folding unit supporting the display panel, the display device being capable of being in-folded and out-folded. The folding unit includes: a first supporting plate including a first supporting portion; a second supporting plate including a second supporting portion spaced apart from the first supporting portion; a first elastic member including a first wing portion protruded from the first supporting portion; and a second elastic member including a second wing portion protruded from the second supporting portion. The bending portion includes a first portion attached to the first wing portion and a second portion attached to the second wing portion.

    Abstract: A flexible display device includes a display panel that includes a bending area that is bendable about a bending axis that extends in a first direction and first and second non-bending areas spaced apart from each other in a second direction that intersects the first direction with the bending area interposed therebetween, and a support member under the display panel. The support member includes a first member that overlaps the bending area and that includes a first metal and a first bonding metal with different melting points, and a bonding member in contact with one side of the first member and that extends in the first direction. The bonding member includes the same metal as the first bonding metal. A concentration of the first bonding metal in the first member progressively decreases from the one side toward the bending axis.

    Abstract: A backlight unit includes a light source which generates a first light; a quantum dots member which is spaced apart from the light source by a first distance and converts the first light into a second light; a guide member which lengthwise extends in a first direction and fixes positions of the light source and the quantum dots member; and an optical member which reflects the second light. The guide member guides the first light from the light source to the quantum dots member and guides the second light from the quantum dots member to the optical member.

    Abstract: A display device includes a light source, a mirror reflection guide member, a diffusion reflection member, and a display panel. The light source extends in a first direction and is configured to emit light. The mirror reflection guide member is configured to: support the light source, and guide at least some of the light to a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The mirror reflection guide member includes a plurality of guide patterns extending in the second direction and arranged in the first direction. The diffusion reflection member is configured to guide at least some of the light to a third direction substantially perpendicular to the first and second directions. The display panel is disposed on the mirror reflection guide member and the diffusion reflection member and is configured to display an image using the light guided by the diffusion reflection member.
