Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable mediums for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting a packet on a first resource, determining one or more repetition resources on which to send one or more redundancy versions of the packet, wherein the one or more repetition resources are at a time subsequent to the first resource, transmitting repetition resource information identifying the one or more repetition resources to one or more neighboring UEs, and transmitting the one or more redundancy versions of the packet on respective ones of the one or more repetition resources.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for transmit/receive (TX/RX) beam association in millimeter wave (mmW) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. In conventional wireless systems, a node (e.g., gNB) that manages wireless resources is typically stationary. This means that transmissions from the network node over the same TX beam using the same antenna array orientation can be assumed to be quasi-collocated (QCLed) and communications may be established using fixed-to-mobile beam management approach. However, if the transmitting node is mobile, a quasi-collocation (QCL) assumption may not be valid. To address issues due to mobility of the nodes that manage wireless resources, a mobile-to-mobile beam management approach is proposed.

Abstract: Techniques for handling sidelink feedback signaling in situations where collisions would otherwise be experienced in a network communication link are shown and described. For example, sidelink feedback signaling handling techniques may provide for collision handling when sidelink HARQ is to be simultaneously transmitted with network communication radio interface uplink channel information (e.g., Uu HARQ, SR, CSI, etc.) on one or more Uu channel (e.g., PUSCH, PUSCH, etc.). In operation of sidelink feedback handling, a transmitter or intermediary UE of a sidelink communication link may decide whether and how to forward the sidelink HARQ to a corresponding base station. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems (e.g., vehicle-to-everything (V2X) systems), a source user equipment (UE) may multicast a data packet to surrounding UEs. In some cases, a receiving UE may fail to receive the transmission due to blocking, shadowing, or interference. The receiving UE may multicast a message requesting retransmission of the packet. Any surrounding UEs that successfully received the data packet from the source UE and the relay request message from the receiving UE may determine whether to relay the packet. Determining whether to relay the packet may be based on a reference signal received power (RSRP) threshold, available resources, a distance to the blocked UE, or some combination thereof. In some examples, the receiving UE may successfully receive the relayed packet from the relay UE even if a path between the receiving UE and the original source UE is blocked.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first wireless communication device may iterate a value of a channel access counter (CAC) to a trigger value based at least in part on configuring the value of the CAC. In some aspects, the first wireless communication device may utilize a channel access mechanism to select a set of time-frequency resources for a transmission of a packet based at least in part on iterating the value of the CAC to the trigger value. In some aspects, the first wireless communication device may transmit the packet to a second wireless communication device via the set of time-frequency resources based at least in part on utilizing the channel access mechanism to select the set of time-frequency resources for the transmission. Abstract: An apparatus may comprise a component for communicating using a first RAT and another component for communicating using a second RAT. Overlapping communication using the two RATs may cause problems for proper reception at the apparatus. The apparatus may detect that transmission or reception of a first packet using a first RAT will overlap in time with reception of a second packet using a second RAT. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that may enable a user equipment (UE) to transmit sidelink data within an interference avoidance resource scheduling scheme. For example, a UE may determine to segment a data packet for transmission in a vehicle-to-everything (V2x) system (e.g., to ensure that each segment fits within one transmission time interval (TTI)). In some cases, a UE may identify a data packet for transmission, may determine that the size of the data packet exceeds a threshold size, may segment the data packet to ensure each segment fits within one TTI, and may transmit the data packet segments (e.g., to additional UEs), where said transmissions may be discontinuous. In some examples, a UE may determine to segment the data packet and then encode the data packet. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may determine to encode the data packet and then segment the data packet.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for sidelink communications. In embodiments, a processor of a wireless device may determine signal strength information and priority information associated with a sidelink communication resource. The processor may determine coordination information based on the determined signal strength information and priority information. The processor may generate a message to include the determined coordination information. The processor may transmit the generated message including the determined coordination information to a second wireless device. In some embodiments, the generated message may be a control message, such as a medium access control control-element (MAC-CE) or a sidelink control information message.
