    Abstract: A device includes at least a first and a second antenna array module. The first antenna array module serves a first frequency band, the first antenna array module having a first antenna array surface that is substantially perpendicular to a first boresight and oriented substantially parallel to a first surface of the device adjacent to the first antenna array module, the second antenna array module serves a second frequency band, the second antenna array module having a second antenna array surface that is substantially perpendicular to a second boresight and oriented at an angle relative to a second surface of the wireless communication device adjacent to the second antenna array module, and the device transmits an indication of a set of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for use in the first frequency band and the second frequency band, the set of TCI states being selected based on the angle.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, and a base station may receive, information related to multipath richness of a channel environment and information related to antenna module capabilities associated with the UE for at least a first frequency band and a second frequency band. The base station may transmit, and the UE may receive, information indicating a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) mode in which to operate one or more antenna modules of the UE based at least in part on the information related to the multipath richness of the channel environment, the antenna module capabilities associated with the UE, and respective cell loadings in the first frequency band and the second frequency band. A receiver may orient its antenna arrays based on signaling from a transmitter and a distance between the receiver and the transmitter.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may utilize parameterized codebooks to support reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted communications. For example, a network entity may receive an indication of one or more codebooks associated with respective sets of parameters including one or more of a respective field of view (FOV) or a respective configuration switching latency, among other parameters. The network entity may select a codebook for RIS-assisted communications based on whether the codebook satisfies one or more thresholds. The network entity may indicate the codebook to a RIS controller and may communicate one or more messages with a user equipment (UE) using a RIS in accordance with the indicated codebook.
