Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication and to layer 1 or layer 2 (L1/L2) triggered mobility (LTM) for non-terrestrial networks (NTNs). In some aspects, a network node may transmit, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message associated with one or more LTM candidate NTN cells. The network node may transmit, and the UE may receive, an indication to perform LTM. In some aspects, the UE may perform, responsive to the one or more LTM candidate NTN cells being within a range of the UE, one or more layer 1 (L1) measurements associated with the one or more LTM candidate NTN cells. In some aspects, the UE may transmit, and the network node may receive, one or more L1 measurement reports associated with the one or more L1 measurements.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Some aspects relate to Layer 1 or Layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM) using groups of candidate cells. Some aspects more specifically relate to performing LTM operations, such as measurement, reporting, or switching, for cells of an activated group of candidate cells for LTM. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may measure an activated group of candidate cells in accordance with the activated group of candidate cells being activated. For example, the UE may not measure candidate cells that do not belong to an activated group of candidate cells. In some aspects, the activated group of candidate cells may include a subset of all candidate cells configured for the UE. For example, the UE may perform measurement and reporting for the subset of candidate cells, instead of all candidate cells configured for the UE.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, a UE monitors for sidelink resource reservations in slots belonging to a sidelink resource pool during a sensing window including one or more slots in which the UE transmits, an inclusion of the one or more slots being based on a condition for sidelink FD communication, and transmits a sidelink transmission using a resource selected from a subset of candidate sidelink resources in the sidelink resource pool after monitoring for the sidelink resource reservations. The method improves the efficiency and performance of SL communication by enabling FD operation and facilitating better resource selection and channel prioritization.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a random access channel (RACH) message to a first distributed unit (DU) via a cell supported by the first DU to support acquisition of timing advance (TA) information prior to switching to the cell. A second DU serving the UE may identify and indicate the TA information to the UE based on the UE transmitting the RACH message indicating a RACH preamble allocated to the second DU by a central unit (CU). The RACH preamble may be included in a set of preambles indicated to the CU by the first DU for TA information acquisition. Alternatively, the UE may be identified by the first DU based on a UE-specific RACH preamble, a RACH preamble, RACH occasion (RO) pair, or a request by the second DU to order the UE to transmit the RACH message.
