Abstract: Scheduling information for transmitting a first physical uplink channel within a slot can be transmitted, the slot including a plurality of symbols and including the first physical uplink channel and a second physical uplink channel, and the first physical uplink channel is shorter in duration than the second physical uplink channel. One or more allocated RBs can be determined for the first physical uplink channel based on an indicated sub-band group and one or more indicated RBGs within the indicated sub-band group, the sub-band group including one or more sub-bands, each sub-band comprising one or more RBGs, each RBG comprising one or more RBs, and an RB including one or more contiguous REs. The first physical uplink channel can be transmitted in the one or more allocated RBs in the slot. The scheduling information can indicate the sub-band group and the one or more resource block groups within the sub-band group.

Abstract: At least one sPDCCH monitoring set including sPDCCH DL control candidates to be monitored by a device in a sTTI of the subframe can be indicated to the device, where an sTTI can be shorter in length than a subframe length TTI. An sPDCCH belonging to one of the at least one sPDCCH monitoring set can be transmitted to the device. The sPDCCH can schedule DL data packet transmissions in a sPDSCH. The sPDCCH can also indicate a rate-matching indicator that indicates at least one OFDM symbol. A sPDSCH can be transmitted rate-matched at least around a set of frequency resources belonging to the at least one OFDM symbol indicated by the rate-matching indicator.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for scheduling of transmission time intervals. One apparatus includes a processor that determines a first semi-persistent scheduling resource assignment indicating a first set of resources including a first multiple time domain resources. Each time domain resource of the first multiple time domain resources has a first transmission time interval length. The processor also determines a second semi-persistent scheduling resource assignment indicating a second set of resources including a second multiple time domain resources. Each time domain resource of the second multiple time domain resources has a second transmission time interval length, and the first transmission time interval length is different from the second transmission time interval length. The apparatus includes a transmitter that transmits the first semi-persistent scheduling resource assignment using a first semi-persistent scheduling radio network identifier, and transmits the second semi-persistent scheduling resource assignment using a second semi-persistent scheduling radio network identifier.

Abstract: A resource assignment can be received. A first set of time-frequency resources in a subframe can be determined from the resource assignment. A second set of time-frequency resources in the subframe can be determined. The second set of time-frequency resources can be used for a second latency data transmission. The second set of time-frequency resources can overlap with at least a portion of the first set of time-frequency resources. A first latency data transmission in the subframe can be decoded based on the determined first and second set of time-frequency resources. The first latency transmission can have a longer latency than the second latency transmission.

Abstract: A set of reference signals can be received. Each of the set of reference signals can be periodically transmitted by a network entity. Information of a plurality of random access channel preambles and a plurality of reference signals from the set of reference signals can be received via a dedicated radio resource control message. At least one reference signal of the plurality of reference signals can be detected. A reference signal can be selected from the detected at least one reference signal. A random access channel preamble of the plurality of random access channel preambles can be transmitted in a contention-free random access procedure. The random access channel preamble for transmission can be determined based on the selected reference signal.

Abstract: A method for a base station can create a subframe structure used in communication between the base station and a UE. The subframe structure can include a plurality of subframes each having a subframe duration. The method can include operating a serving cell on a carrier frequency. The method can include performing a LBT on the carrier frequency for a time duration that at least partially overlaps a terminal portion of a subframe duration of a first subframe of the plurality of subframes. The method can include determining a position of a starting OFDM symbol for transmitting a control channel in a second subframe of the plurality of subframes based on the time duration of the LBT. The subframe duration of the second subframe can occur immediately after the subframe duration of the first subframe.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for discontinuous reception for a shortened transmission time interval and processing time includes a device monitoring for data transmission scheduling assignments during an active time of a DRX cycle, and detecting a transmission during the active time. The method further includes the device starting a first timer, in response to the detecting, wherein the first timer is set for a first timer value that specifies an amount of time between detecting the transmission and starting a second timer that extends the active time by a second timer value. The first timer value is determined based on one or both of a selected first TTI length from multiple TTI lengths for which the device can be enabled and/or a selected shorter first processing time over a second processing time associated with a TTI length used by the device.

Abstract: A channel state information request requesting a device to feedback channel state information can be received. Whether the channel state information request corresponds to regular latency based operation or reduced latency based operation can be determined. Channel state information can be derived based on a first reference resource when the channel state information request corresponds to regular latency based operation. Channel state information can be derived based on a second reference resource when the channel state information request corresponds to reduced latency based operation. The reduced latency based operation can have a latency less than the regular latency based operation. The derived channel state information can be reported to a network.
