    Abstract: Provided are a method for a user equipment to select a codebook index in a wireless communication system and an apparatus supporting the method. The method performed by the user equipment comprises performing zero padding for a first vector, wherein the first vector represents a channel state measured by a receive antenna for a first transmit antenna; performing IFFT for a second vector, wherein the second vector is obtained by performing the zero padding for the first vector; performing receive antenna combining for a third vector, wherein the third vector is obtained by performing IFFT for the second vector; and detecting a maximum element from a fourth vector, wherein the fourth vector is obtained by performing the receive antenna combining for the third vector.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a transmission device and reception device for data in a wireless AV system. The transmission device comprises: a processor for encoding media data thereby generating a compressed bitstream; and a communication unit for: fragmenting the compressed bitstream and mapping the compressed bitstream to an MSDU; generating, for transmission of the MSDU, an MPDU frame sequentially comprising an MAC header, a frame body, and an FCS for the MAC header; generating, for the transmission of the MPDU frame, a PPDU sequentially comprising a preamble, at least one PSDU, and a TRN field; and transmitting the PPDU frame through a radio channel. A radio resource for transmission of actually necessary data can be secured by minimizing unnecessary overhead information (i.e., control-related information in the MAC header) from among data transmitted over radio.

    Abstract: A disclosure of the present specification provides a rake receiver. Such present specification discloses a wireless data transmission device for performing channel selection, the device comprising: a communication unit for performing the steps of selecting an initial channel in a non-connection state on the basis of first channel monitoring, transmitting a periodic beacon onto the initial channel in a standby mode after switching to a connection state, and selecting a new channel in the standby mode on the basis of second channel monitoring in an interval in which beacon transmission does not occur; and a processor connected to the communication unit so as to control the operation of the communication unit.     Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for performing beamforming using multiple antennas in a wireless AV system. The present specification discloses a wireless data transmission apparatus comprising: a plurality of transmission antennas; a communication circuit for performing a MIMO beamforming procedure on the basis of an individual transmission sector sweep for each of the plurality of transmission antennas during a data transmission interval within a beacon interval, and transmitting a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) frame to a wireless data reception apparatus through the plurality of transmission antennas; and a processor connected to the communication circuit, and configured to generate AV data to be transmitted through the PPDU frame and provide the generated AV data to the communication circuit. The present invention can reduce time required for MIMO beamforming while minimizing training of an excessive sector combination in a communication procedure or information related to the MIMO beamforming in a wireless AV system, and maintain the reliability of the system by using an optimum sector combination.
