A soft haptic device and a local control method are disclosed. The soft haptic device includes a soft actuator. The soft actuator includes an electroactive polymer film, a patterned electrode, and a dielectric liquid injected between the electroactive polymer film and the patterned electrode. The soft actuator generates a reconfigurable shape such that a form of an output shape and a number of outputtable shapes are changed depending on the number of electrodes constituting the patterned electrode, a shape of the electrodes, and an arrangement of the electrodes.

Provided are a novel metal catalyst for preparing cyclic carbonate, and a method for preparing cyclic carbonate using the same, and more particularly, a method for selectively preparing cyclic carbonate in a high yield and at a higher conversion rate as compared to the existing catalysts, using the metal complex including a ligand represented by Chemical Formula 1 below and a trivalent metal in Group 8 or Group 13 as a catalyst and using various structures of epoxide compounds and carbon dioxide as raw materials. In addition, provided are the prepared cyclic carbonate, and an electrolyte including the same: in Chemical Formula 1, R1 is hydrogen, (C1-C20)alkyl or halogen; R2 is hydrogen, (C1-C20)alkyl, (C1-C20)alkoxy, halogen or nitro.

Provided are novel ligand, a chiral metal complex including the same, and a use of the chiral metal complex for analyzing the chirality of a charged compound by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The chiral metal complex of the present invention may be used as the chiral solvating agent to conveniently analyze the optical purity of charged compounds such as various amine derivatives, carboxylic acid derivatives, cyanohydrin derivatives and charged metal complexes by 1H NMR spectroscopy.

The present disclosure relates to a method and device for unmixing fluorescent signals based on a joint histogram. The method and device may be configured to obtain a plurality of images of a plurality of fluorescent materials marked in different biomolecules and to unmix the signals of the fluorescent materials based on at least one joint histogram index defined between the images of each of pairs each including two or more of the obtained images. According to the present disclosure, the joint histogram index may include at least one of Kullback-Leibler divergence, cross-entropy, or Rand-index.

This disclosure provides a method and apparatus for multicolor unmixing through iterative mutual information minimization in a simultaneous channel update structure. In this disclosure, a plurality of images may be obtained with respect to a plurality of fluorophores labeled on different biomolecules, respectively. Images of the fluorophores may be unmixed from the obtained images, respectively, while simultaneously minimizing mutual information shared between the obtained images based on all permutation combinations of the obtained images. According to the present disclosure, signals having three or more fluorophores whose emission spectra are overlapped in one spectral range can be more accurately unmixed.

According to some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a context category dataset generating apparatus and method which predict a context category to which a user-inputted hashtag belongs, receive from the user the user's context category to which the hashtag belongs, and generate and update the context category dataset.
