Abstract: For example, an apparatus may include a segment parser to parse scrambled data bits of a PPDU into a first plurality of data bits and a second plurality of data bits, the PPDU to be transmitted in an OFDM transmission over an aggregated bandwidth comprising a first channel in a first frequency band and a second channel in a second frequency band; a first baseband processing block to encode and modulate the first plurality of data bits according to a first OFDM MCS for transmission over the first channel in the first frequency band; and a second baseband block to encode and modulate the second plurality of data bits according to a second OFDM MCS for transmission over the second channel in the second frequency band.

Abstract: A wireless communication device, a system, and a method. The device may use memory circuitry and processing circuitry to process a packet wirelessly transmitted to the STA from a serving AP. The packet may be configured according to a first wireless communication protocol from a serving AP, such as, for example, WLAN. The wireless communication device may further process a low modulation packet configured according to a second wireless communication protocol from a candidate access point, the low modulation packet being at a modulation rate lower than a lowest modulation rate for the first wireless communication protocol. The second wireless communication protocol may be the LP-WU radio communication protocol. The device may determine a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) value of the low modulation packet, and may further process a frame including information on an address or signature, such as a Service Set Identifier (SSID) for the serving AP corresponding to the candidate access point, the frame being from the serving access point, from the candidate access point, or from another wireless communication device. The device may then associate the RSSI value with the address of the candidate access point, and trigger transition of the device from the serving access point to the candidate access point based on the RSSI value and on the address of the candidate access point.

Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, apparatus, and systems related to resource pre-allocation and opportunistic full-duplex downlink transmissions for wireless communication. A device may determine a wireless communication sub-channel for uplink transmissions. The device may cause to send a full-duplex trigger frame including resource pre-allocation instructions for the sub-channel. The device may receive an uplink frame on the sub-channel. The device may receive first downlink data. The device may determine if an estimated downlink transmission time is less than an estimated residual uplink transmission time. The device may cause to send the first downlink data upon determining that the estimated downlink transmission time is not less than the estimated residual uplink transmission time. The device may cause to send the first downlink data and second downlink data upon determining that the estimated downlink transmission time is less than the estimated residual uplink transmission time.
