    Abstract: An apparatus and method of realizing a virtual after-burn effect of a vehicle are provided. The method includes receiving vehicle driving information at a controller while the electric vehicle travels, determining, by the controller, characteristics of the virtual after-burn effect based on the input vehicle driving information, outputting, by the controller, a control signal for realizing the virtual after-burn effect based on the determined characteristics of the virtual after-burn effect, and controlling, by the controller, an operation of a realization device for realizing the virtual after-burn effect according to the control signal.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a device and method for controlling a traveling characteristic of a vehicle. The device includes: a user terminal configured to configure and display a screen for a setting mode, on which a parameter value that determines drivability and traveling characteristic of the vehicle is displayed and from which a driver performs a change and a setting to the displayed parameter value; a controller configured to be provided in the vehicle, to receive a parameter value that results from the driver performing the change and the setting, from the user terminal, and to apply the received parameter value to control logic for controlling a traveling state of the vehicle; and a communication unit configured to be provided in the vehicle and to make a connection between the user terminal and the control unit in such a manner that transmission and reception of the parameter value are possible.

    Abstract: A method for determining deterioration of a dry clutch mounted between an engine and a motor of a hybrid vehicle includes determining whether an entry condition to determine the deterioration of the dry clutch is satisfied. Roughness of the dry clutch is determined when the entry condition is satisfied. A deviation between the roughness of the dry clutch and a reference value is calculated, and the deviation is compared with a threshold value. A roughness counter of the dry clutch is increased when the deviation is larger than the threshold value. The roughness counter of the dry clutch is compared with a boundary value. It is determined that the dry clutch deteriorates when the roughness counter of the dry clutch is larger than the boundary value.
