    摘要: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate sending and/or receiving user equipment specific reference signals (UE-RSs) in a wireless communication environment. A UE-RS pattern can be selected, yielded, etc. based upon a number of symbols from a subframe utilized for downlink transmission. At least one time domain component of the UE-RS pattern can vary based upon the number of symbols from the subframe utilized for the downlink transmission. For instance, the at least one time domain component can be punctured, time-shifted, and so forth. Further, UE-RSs can be mapped to resource elements of the subframe as a function of the UE-RS pattern. Moreover, a UE can utilize the UE-RS pattern to detect UE-RSs on the resource elements of the subframe. Further, the UE can estimate a channel based upon the UE-RSs.

    摘要: Disclosed are methods and apparatus for sampling rate conversion in a wireless transceiver. The methods and apparatus achieve agile setting of sampling rates or resampling by adaptively setting a sampling rate of a signal based on at least one performance requirement of the transceiver. In particular, the methods and apparatus perform sampling of an input signal at a first sampling rate to gain one or more input signal samples. The input signal samples are then filtered using parallel or polyphase filtering operating at a second sampling rate lower than the first sampling rate. The filtered samples are then interpolated at the second sampling rate to achieve resampling of the input signal. Polyphase filtering affords an effectively high input sampling rate for good spectrum image rejection, while allowing the second sampling rate to be effectively much lower than the first rate, thereby reducing the complexity of multiplier operations for interpolation.

    摘要: Interference in a wireless communication is minimized, or at least reduced, by scaling the symbols received from an interfering transmitter. Input samples from the interfering transmitter are isolated and decovered to generate received symbols. The gains of the received symbols are scaled to reduce the interference and the scaled symbols are covered to produce output samples that are spread to generate interference cancelled samples with reduced interference from the interfering transmitter. The function applied to scale the symbols may be linear or nonlinear.
