摘要: A double row tapered roller bearing with vertex of contact angles outside of the bearing is externally fitted to an outer periphery of a hub wheel to which a wheel is attached. A shaft end of the hub wheel is deformed outwardly in a radial direction so as to be caulked to an outer end surface of an inner ring of the bearing. A raceway track of at least one of the inner ring and the outer ring in the bearing is designed so as to satisfy a condition that a predetermined form is secured in a state that the raceway track is elastically deformed by the caulking. As a result, satisfactory rolling performance of the tapered roller after the caulking is secured, and a predetermined life of the bearing apparatus after the caulking can be obtained.

摘要: A bearing apparatus includes a hollow shaft provided around an outer peripheral surface with a bearing fitting region, and a rolling bearing having an inner ring fitted around the bearing fitting region of the hollow shaft. A shaft end of the hollow shaft is bent outwardly in a diametrical direction, thereby being caulked on an outer end surface of the inner ring. The bearing fitting region has a hardened layer in a region from a first position corresponding to an inner end surface of the inner ring of the rolling bearing to a second position before a position corresponding to an outer end surface of the inner ring, and has a non-hardened layer in another region from the outer end surface corresponding position of the inner ring to the shaft end. The second position representative of a caulked side end portion of the hardened layer is defined based on a predetermined relational expression.

摘要: In a bearing device in which a free end of a shaft body to which a rolling bearing is mounted is bent outward in its radial direction into a shape to be pushed against an end face of an inner ring of the rolling bearing so as to prevent the rolling bearing from falling out, a raceway surface of the inner ring of the rolling bearing is subjected to hardening treatment, and other portion of the inner ring is made of raw material which is not hardened. With this arrangement, the caulked portion formed by the caulking plastically deforms the relatively soft inner peripheral corner of the inner ring and as a result, the caulked portion and the inner peripheral corner are adhered to each other strongly.

摘要: A bearing device comprising a shaft body having an axially cylindrical portion in a free end side thereof and a rolling bearing fitted around an outer peripheral surface of the shaft body, wherein the cylindrical portion is bent and deformed radially outward by a rolling caulking to be caulked thereby on an outer end face of an inner ring of the rolling bearing. An inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion is formed by a turning work, and a residual stress left in a surface layer of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion by the turning work is set to a value capable of restraining a crack generation ratio in the inner peripheral surface to less than a predetermined rate, desirably to not more than 5 kgf/mm2.

The semiconductor chips ejected from the rotary table are fed to a bonding apparatus. 摘要: An outer ring of a bearing device for a vehicle has a cylindrical main body extending from an inner vehicle side to an axially opposite side. The main body has a raceway at an inner peripheral surface. A flange is provided at an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring toward the ring's vehicle inner side end. A cylindrical fitting tolerance part also is provided at the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring, at a position closer to the vehicle inner side end than the flange. The axial length of the cylindrical fitting tolerance part may be designed to be any of various lengths. The bearing device is manufactured by turning the cylindrical main body while holding the flange, such as for embodiments in which the cylindrical fitting tolerance part has a short length unsuitable for holding.
