摘要: Various aspects directed towards a wearable identity manager system are disclosed. In a first aspect, an association status between a user and a wearable identity manager device is ascertained based on whether the wearable identity manager device is worn by the user, and motion data associated with a movement of the wearable identity manager device is monitored. Authentication data, which includes the motion data, is then transmitted based on the association status. In another aspect, an association status between a user and a wearable identity manager device is again determined based on whether the wearable identity manager device is worn by the user. Here, however, the wearable identity manager device is paired with a pairing device, and authentication data is transmitted to the pairing device based on the association status to facilitate a user authentication via the pairing device.

摘要: A method and apparatus for monitoring the health and safety of a subject in a room such as a secure room based on video images of the subject. The images are analysed to characterise the movement of the subject as gross movement, fine movement or no movement. In the case of gross movement, no vital signs of the subject are estimated and a display indicates that the subject is moving, but no vital signs are available. In the absence of gross movement, vital signs of the subject such as heart rate or breathing rate are estimated from the video images of the subject, for example by detecting and analysing photoplethysmogram signals in the video images, and the vital signs are displayed. Alerts may be generated if the vital signs are out of the normal physiological range. If vital signs cannot be detected in the video images but the movement of the subject is characterised as fine movement, the display shows that no vital signs are being estimated, but that the subject is moving. If no movement is detected and no vital signs estimate is obtained, then the display generates an alert indicating lack of movement and lack of vital signs.

摘要: A system and method of flagging monitored ECG samples for urgent review by a human expert is described, and includes monitoring an electro-cardiogram (ECG) signal of the patient with an adherent device that includes a plurality of electrodes. Based on the monitored ECG signal, detected rhythm abnormalities in the patient are detected and ECG samples are collected with respect to detected rhythm abnormalities. One or more features are identified with respect to each ECG sample, and the features are utilized to flag ECG samples for urgent review by a human expert.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses a method and device for identifying a human movement state. The method comprises: providing a three-axis acceleration sensor and a human physical sign sensor in a wearable device; determining according to acceleration signals that are collected by the three-axis acceleration sensor that a human body is in a walking state, calculating a walking step number of the human body, and calculating a walking step frequency according to the walking step number; calculating a corresponding physical sign frequency during the walking process according to a physical sign signal that is collected by the human physical sign sensor; and comparing the walking step frequency and the physical sign frequency that are obtained by calculating respectively with a step frequency threshold and a physical sign frequency threshold, and if the walking step frequency is greater than the step frequency threshold, and the physical sign frequency is greater than the physical sign frequency threshold, determining that the human movement state is a running state, and recording the calculated walking step number to be a running step number; and if not, determining that the human movement state is a pacing state, and recording the calculated walking step number to be a pacing step number. The technical solutions of the present disclosure effectively distinguish the pacing state and the running state in walking states.

摘要: An implantable rate responsive pacemaker includes a sensor module configured to produce an activity signal correlated to a metabolic demand of a patient and a posture signal correlated to patient posture. The pacemaker further includes a pulse generator configured to generate and deliver pacing pulses to a patient's heart via a pair of electrodes coupled to the pacemaker. A control module is coupled to the pulse generator and the sensor module and is configured to determine a sensor indicated pacing rate from the activity signal, compare the posture signal to verification criteria for confirming an exercising posture of the patient, and withhold an adjustment of a pacing rate to the sensor indicated pacing rate responsive to the verification criteria not being met.
