摘要: A compression device includes at least one pressurizable bladder to substantially occlude blood flow into skin capillary beds adjacent to the at least one pressurizable bladder, and a plurality of perfusion sensors. In operation a first-angiosome sensor detects the perfusion parameter of a skin capillary bed in a first angiosome of the limb, and a second-angiosome sensor detects the perfusion parameter of a skin capillary bed in a second angiosome of the limb that is different from the first angiosome. A control circuit maps sensor signals from the first-angiosome sensor to the first angiosome or a first artery of the limb, and maps sensor signals from the second-angiosome sensor to the second angiosome or a second artery of the limb different from the first artery of the limb. For each perfusion sensor, the control circuit determines whether the received sensor signals are indicative of peripheral artery disease.

摘要: A system and method of monitoring and reporting premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) detected in a patient is described. The method includes monitoring an electro-cardiogram (ECG) signal of the patient with an adherent device that includes a plurality of electrodes. Premature ventricular contraction (PVC) beats are detected based on the monitored ECG signal, and ECG episodes associated with detected PVC beats are stored for subsequent analysis. A morphology signal is calculated by quantifying the stored ECG episodes associated with detected PVC beats, wherein the morphology signal numerically represents the shape of the detected PVC beat. The PVC beats are then numerically clustered based on the calculated morphology signals to group PVC beats having a similar morphology or shape, and a report is generated based on the clustering of the PVC beats.

摘要: A measurement system for determining at least one parameter of a subject, the system comprising: an acoustic device for generating and irradiating a region of interest in the subject with acoustic tagging radiation having a carrier frequency and being modulated by a predetermined coding function of at least one parameter varying over time; an optical device for illuminating the region of interest with electromagnetic radiation of a predetermined frequency range, detecting an electromagnetic radiation response of the region of interest, and generating measured data indicative of interaction between the acoustic tagging radiation and the electromagnetic radiation at successive positions in the region of interest, the optical device being operable concurrently with the acoustic device during at least a first measurement session; and a control unit for processing the measured data and determining at least first data comprising spectral data as a function of position, such that each of the measured successive positions in the region of interest is characterized by its spectral data.
