摘要: The present invention relates to an automated external defibrillator (AED) system and a control method thereof, which more specifically is provided with an AED on the elevator ceiling, and AED call switch beside the entrance of the elevator of each floor, and the elevator stops current operation to move first to the floor with AED switch pushed. AED system of an elevator in the present invention comprises: AED call switch provided on the side of an elevator door or key input unit of home automation; Elevator which moves to the relevant floor with the AED call switch when the AED call signal are received from the AED call switch of the floor; AED storage box which is equipped on the elevator and is stored AED into, and which turn on the LED on one side of it when the AED call signal receives from the elevator. The AED storage box is stored in the elevator ceiling, and has an inspection unit, which regularly checks up for normal operation status of AED. Also, more than one terminal among a terminal of the guard room, a terminal of administration office, an emergency rescue terminal, and mobile phones of related personnel receives the situation information, when the AED call switch is chosen(ON) and when AED is taken out.

摘要: A method and system for employing a medical device is disclosed. The medical device includes a housing, a processor disposed within the housing, a connector module, and a medical electrical epicardial lead connected to the processor through the connector module. The epicardial lead is used to sense a cardiac signal from tissue of a patient. The lead comprises an insulative lead body that includes a proximal end and a distal end, at least one conductor disposed in the lead body, and a side helical fixation member, disposed a distance from the distal end, the side helical fixation member. The side helical fixation member comprises a set of windings configured to wrap around the lead body circumference. The side helical fixation member includes a distal tip comprising a sharpened elongated flat free end that is perpendicular to the lead body and angled toward an inside of the set of windings.

摘要: A Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD) system has a processor that performs two different analyses on an ECG (401) of the patient (82). A first-level analysis (541) can be computationally economical, while a fuller second-level analysis (542) can give shock/no-shock advice with more certainty. In some of these embodiments the second-level analysis of the ECG is performed only if the first-level analysis of the ECG detects a possible shockable condition. As such, the first-level analysis may operate as a gatekeeping function, often preventing the more computationally intensive second-level analysis from being performed. An advantage can be that the WCD system needs to store less charge, for powering the processor. In turn, this permits portions of the WCD system to be less bulky and weigh less.

摘要: A headrest structure is provided and includes a body and two supporting rods. The body includes a covering cushion and an automated external defibrillator (AED). The AED is enclosed by the covering cushion. Each of the supporting rods includes a linking end and a combining end opposite to the linking end, and each of the supporting rods is connected to the body with the linking end so as to support the body. Based on this, the AED is assembled in the body to improve the applicability of the AED, so that patients experiencing cardiac arrest can be treated properly and instantly.

摘要: A wearable medical monitoring device can include a monitor and an update manager. The monitor is configured to monitor a physiological parameter of a subject. The update manager is configured to receive a software update corresponding to the at least one software module for the monitor, and cause an installation of the software update such that the at least one software module installed on the monitor is updated. A wearable medical monitoring device can also include at least one processor, and a supervisory circuit configured to provide redundant booting. The supervisory circuit is configured to monitor a state of the processor when the processor is configured to boot from a current drive. The supervisory circuit is further configured to control the processor to boot from an alternative drive based on the state of the at least one processor or if there is an error caused by the current drive.
