摘要: There are provided measures for data unit delay measurement. Such measures exemplarily comprise, at a controlling component of a network assembly providing wireless communication access to a network, the controlling component controlling a plurality of controlled components of said network assembly and being connected to at least a first controlled component of said plurality of controlled components: monitoring, in a measurement period, arrival of downlink transmission data units at said network assembly, registering, based on said monitoring, times of arrival of said downlink transmission data units at said network assembly within said measurement period, generating information indicative of said times of arrival of delivery confirmed downlink transmission data units out of said downlink transmission data units, and transmitting said information indicative of said times of arrival to a network analysis entity.

摘要: Systems and method are provided for detecting latency in radio frequency connections. A computing device can detect, at a first time, light using an optical sensor and receive, at a second time, a first data packet over a connection with a first wireless device. The computing device may define a first signal latency value based on the first time and the second time. The computing device may then receive a media stream that includes a video component and an audio component and modify a presentation of the media stream by delaying the video component by a time interval based on the first signal latency value.

摘要: A method for determining a direction of at least one sound source using an audio system capturing by an array of microphones sound emitted by the at least one sound source. The method includes: emitting a sound by way of the at least one sound source; recording sound signals received by the array of microphones; executing cross-correlations between the received signals in order to deduce relative times of arrival therefrom; creating a sinusoidal function of time having a determined frequency and a phase offset dependent on the relative times of arrival; and computing to determine a direction value of the sound source in a spatial reference frame defined by the array of microphones, using the values computed from the sinusoidal function of time at input, presenting the direction value.

A communication device configured to function as a Sniffer device synchronizes the communication device to a frequency and a timing employed between the two wireless communication devices on a main wireless communication channel. The wireless communication exchanges are monitored, in which the wireless communication exchanges are packet-based data exchanges or tone-based data exchanges. The operations for wireless communication exchanges are repeated across a plurality of different frequencies. The communication device then combines a plurality of phase and/or magnitude measurements and determines a value of phase and/or magnitude error introduced by each device based on the combined plurality of phase and/or magnitude measurements.

In one example method, a first communications device receives a data unit from a second communications device, where the data unit includes time information, the time information is used to indicate a first moment at which the second communications device sends the data unit, and the time information indicates the first moment based on a part of bits of a frame number. The first communications device determines a delay from the second communications device to the first communications device based on the first moment and a second moment, where the second moment is a moment at which the first communications device receives the data unit.
