    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to enable two or more power supply units constituting a power supply system to be synchronized to stably operate the power supply system. A power supply system 100 includes two or more power supply units 10 to 13, the power supply units 10 to 13 cooperating to supply DC power to a shared load 22, the power supply units 10 to 13 including a power supply main circuit 30 that converts AC power inputted from the outside into DC power; a control unit 36 that controls the power supply main circuit 30; a pair of synchronous terminals Z1, Z2 respectively connected to a pair of synchronous signal lines ZCL; a transmission unit 35 that outputs a trigger signal TG by establishing conduction between the pair of synchronous signal lines ZCL; and a reception unit 35 that detects a conductive state between the pair of synchronous signal lines ZCL and that receives the trigger signal TG, wherein the power supply main circuit 30 stops outputting based on timing of receiving the trigger signal TG.

    Abstract: A control method applied to a power supply system. The power supply system comprises at least one first power unit and a second power unit, and the at least one first power unit is configured to provide power to an electrical load according to a power provided by a power source. The control method comprises: detecting a load status of the power supply system; when the load status is determined to be a peak load, generating a trigger signal; and in response to the trigger signal, disabling a first-stage converter in the second power unit, and controlling an energy storage capacitor in the second power unit to provide power to the electrical load, wherein the energy storage capacitor is coupled between the first-stage converter and a second-stage converter in the second power unit.

    Abstract: A hand held, portable jump starter device includes a housing having a multi-cell rechargeable battery, a USB input port for receiving a charging current to recharge the multi-cell rechargeable battery, and an output port for providing jump starting current to an external vehicle; a USB charge circuit including a DC-to-DC converter circuit for upconverting an input voltage on the USB input port to a higher charging voltage for recharging the multi-cell rechargeable battery; a pair of series connected transistor devices for controlling current flow into and out of the multi-cell rechargeable battery; a control circuit for detecting the voltage of the multi-cell rechargeable battery and configured to turn off the USB charge circuit to prevent over charging of the multi-cell rechargeable battery if the detected voltage exceeds a threshold value; and a battery charge controller configured to prevent over discharging of the multi-cell rechargeable battery.

    Abstract: The power supply device includes a power generator, a drive source, a plurality of batteries, a difference calculating unit 11, a difference summing unit 12 and an electric power summing unit 13. The difference calculating unit 11 is configured to calculate differences between target amounts of electric power Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 of each battery and measured amounts of electric power M1, M2, M3, and M4. The difference summing unit 12 is configured to sum the differences in electric power of the batteries calculated by the difference calculating unit 11. The electric power summing unit 13 is configured to sum electric power calculated by the difference summing unit 12 and electric power required for the electric motors. A control unit 9 controls the drive source such that electric power calculated by the electric power summing unit 13 is generated by the power generator.
