    摘要: An antenna device as described herein includes a first metal layer and a second metal layer. The second metal layer is spaced apart from the first metal layer. The first metal layer includes an opening through which to transmit RF (Radio Frequency) energy to the second metal layer. The second metal layer is operable to reflect the RF energy received through the opening back to a surface of the first metal layer. The first metal layer is operable to reflect the RF energy (received from the reflection off the second metal layer) in a direction past the second metal layer through a communication medium. The surface area of the first metal layer is sufficiently larger than a surface area of the second metal layer to reflect the RF energy past the second metal layer into the communication medium. This ensures that the antenna device operates in a reflective mode as opposed to a resonant mode, resulting in high gain.

    摘要: Provided is a frequency selective surface including a conductor plane (101), nine loop slots (102) each formed to be surrounded by the conductor plane (101), and a capacitance component (103) disposed to straddle the loop slots (102) in a width direction, both ends of the capacitance component being connected to the conductor plane (101) at a position near the loop slots (102). The conductor plane (101) and the loop slots (102) each formed to be surrounded by the conductor plane (101) constitute a unit cell (110). The unit cells (110) are two-dimensionally periodically arranged. One or more (four in the case of FIG. 1) capacitance components (103) disposed to straddle the loop slots (102) in the width direction are provided for each loop slot (102). Operating frequencies can be easily changed by adjusting only a component connected to the unit cell, or a part of metallic patterns.

The dual-band antenna radiates or receives a signal on a first frequency or a second frequency. The second reflection unit has a plurality of second reflection boards to reflect an signal on the second frequency radiated from the dual-band antenna. The plurality of first and second reflection boards are arranged beside the dual-band antenna, and a plane normal vector of each first and second reflection board is directed to the dual-band antenna. The first reflection unit is closer to the dual-band antenna than the second reflection unit.

Focusing of the electromagnetic signals is achieved by a reflective lens that is constructed from several extremely high frequency focusing layers. Each focusing layer can include an extremely high frequency focusing window that, collectively, define the geometry of a cavity backed reflective lens and its ability to focus electromagnetic signal dispersion.
