Additionally, the luminaire includes a wireless antenna positioned within the interior volume, configured to transmit or receive a wireless signal along a first direction, and configured to be operatively coupled to an access point. The wireless antenna can be entirely within the interior volume. The luminaire can include a first reflective surface within the interior volume and configured to redirect the wireless signal. The lamp can be configured to be electrically coupled to a power inserter that powers the access point.

摘要: Provided is a rapid over-the-air (OTA) production line test platform, including a device under test (DUT), an antenna array and two reflecting plates. The DUT has a beamforming function. The antenna array is arranged opposite to the DUT, and emits beams with beamforming. Two reflecting plates are disposed opposite to each other, and are arranged between the DUT and the antenna array. The beam OTA test of the DUT is carried out by propagation of the beams between the antenna array, the DUT and the two reflecting plates. Accordingly, the test time can be greatly shortened and the cost of test can be effectively reduced. In addition to the above-mentioned rapid OTA production line test platform, platforms for performing the OTA production line test by using horn antenna arrays together with bending waveguides and using a 3D elliptic curve are also provided.

摘要: A base station antenna includes a panel that has a ground plane, first and second arrays that have respective first and second sets of linearly arranged radiating elements mounted on the panel, and a decoupling unit positioned between a first radiating element of the first array and a first radiating element of the second array. The decoupling unit includes at least a first sidewall that faces the first radiating element of the first array, a second sidewall that faces the first radiating element of the second array and an internal cavity that is defined in the region between the sidewalls. The first and second sidewalls are electrically conductive and electrically connected to the ground plane.

摘要: An antenna device as described herein includes a first metal layer and a second metal layer. The second metal layer is spaced apart from the first metal layer. The first metal layer includes an opening through which to transmit RF (Radio Frequency) energy to the second metal layer. The second metal layer is operable to reflect the RF energy received through the opening back to a surface of the first metal layer. The first metal layer is operable to reflect the RF energy (received from the reflection off the second metal layer) in a direction past the second metal layer through a communication medium. The surface area of the first metal layer is sufficiently larger than a surface area of the second metal layer to reflect the RF energy past the second metal layer into the communication medium. This ensures that the antenna device operates in a reflective mode as opposed to a resonant mode, resulting in high gain.

摘要: Provided is a frequency selective surface including a conductor plane (101), nine loop slots (102) each formed to be surrounded by the conductor plane (101), and a capacitance component (103) disposed to straddle the loop slots (102) in a width direction, both ends of the capacitance component being connected to the conductor plane (101) at a position near the loop slots (102). The conductor plane (101) and the loop slots (102) each formed to be surrounded by the conductor plane (101) constitute a unit cell (110). The unit cells (110) are two-dimensionally periodically arranged. One or more (four in the case of FIG. 1) capacitance components (103) disposed to straddle the loop slots (102) in the width direction are provided for each loop slot (102). Operating frequencies can be easily changed by adjusting only a component connected to the unit cell, or a part of metallic patterns.

摘要: A beam adjustable antenna device includes a dual-band antenna, a first reflection unit, and a second reflection unit. The dual-band antenna radiates or receives a signal on a first frequency or a second frequency. The first reflection unit has a plurality of first reflection boards to reflect the signal on the first frequency from the dual-band antenna. The plurality of first and second reflection boards are arranged beside the dual-band antenna, and a plane normal vector of each first and second reflection board is directed to the dual-band antenna. The first reflection unit is closer to the dual-band antenna than the second reflection unit.

摘要: Systems and devices relating to dipole antennas. The beamwidth of a crossed dipole antenna is widened by providing a parasitic monopole antenna adjacent to the crossed dipole antenna. In one configuration, each arm of the crossed dipole antenna has, adjacent to it, a parasitic monopole antenna. In another configuration, the crossed dipole antenna is surrounded by a number of other crossed dipole antennas acting as parasitic monopole antenna elements. The center or primary crossed dipole antenna can be for low band signals while the secondary crossed dipole antennas are for high band signals.
