Abstract: A protective element includes: a fuse element cuttable by energization in a first direction; a slider made of an insulating material, including: a plate-shaped portion extending in the first direction; a shielding portion erected in a second direction on the plate-shaped portion, having a shielding-portion through hole penetrating the shielding portion; and a case made of an insulating material, including a housing portion which houses a slider and a portion of the fuse element. The housing portion includes: a shielding-portion housing space which houses the shielding portion such that the shielding portion is movable in the second direction; and a plate-shaped-portion moving space which houses the plate-shaped portion such that the plate-shaped portion is movable in the second direction Prior to the fuse element being cut, the slider and the fuse element are housed such that the fuse element is inserted into the shielding-portion through hole.

The fuse includes: a housing, a closed chamber being provided in the housing and being filled with an arc extinguishing filler, and a first conductive terminal and a second conductive terminal which are used as a current input end and a current output end being respectively connected to the housing; a melt which is connected in series between the first conductive terminal and the second conductive terminal, at least part of the melt being disposed through the closed chamber; and an impact apparatus, which is arranged in the housing, is positioned outside the closed chamber, and is configured to act, when receiving an excitation signal, on the melt to generate an impact force to make the melt break in the closed chamber.

Abstract: An explosion-proof over-current protection element includes a fuse body, a ceramic shell, an explosion-proof layer, an arc-extinguishing layer, and a protection layer. The fuse body includes two electrodes and a fuse wire between the electrodes. The fuse body is integrally formed. The fuse wire is arranged within a cavity of the ceramic shell. The electrodes protrude from inside of the cavity toward outside of the cavity to contact an outer wall of the ceramic shell. The explosion-proof layer is arranged within the cavity and contacts a bottom surface of the cavity. The arc-extinguishing layer is arranged within the cavity and covers the fuse wire. The explosion-proof layer and the arc-extinguishing layer are made of different materials. The protection layer is arranged within the cavity. The arc-extinguishing layer is located between the explosion-proof layer and the protection layer.

Abstract: A pattern fuse includes a lower film layer, an adhesive layer stacked on the lower film layer, a circuit pattern made of a conductive material and provided on the adhesive layer, an upper film layer stacked on the adhesive layer and the circuit pattern and a coating layer configured to cover the opening of the upper film layer, wherein the coating layer includes a flame retardant material. A method of manufacturing the pattern fuse is also provided.

Abstract: A protective element includes a fuse element, a movable member, a concave member, and a press. The fuse member includes, a first end, a second end, and a cut part positioned between the first end and the second end. The fuse element is energized in a first direction from the first end to the second end. The movable member and the concave member are disposed facing each other such that the cut part is interposed therebetween. The press applies a force to the movable member in a pressing direction in which a distance between the movable member and the concave member shortens. At a temperature at or above a softening temperature of the fuse element, the cut part is cut by the force of the press.
