摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a main body housing and a process cartridge demountable from the main-body housing. The process cartridge includes a drum cartridge and a toner cartridge. The drum cartridge includes a photosensitive drum, a drum cleaner, an outlet with an outlet opening, an outlet shutter, and a lever. The lever is pivotable between a first position at which the lever places the outlet shutter closing the outlet opening and a second position at which the lever places the outlet shutter opening the outlet opening. When the lever is located at the first position, the process cartridge is demountable from the main-body housing. When the lever is located at the second position, the process cartridge is disabled to be demounted from the main-body housing.

摘要： An image forming apparatus, having a housing with an opening, an openable/closable cover, a hinge supporting the openable/closable cover pivotably, LED units including LED heads, a first enhancing member, a second enhancing member, and a link member, is provided. The LED units are supported by the openable/closable cover. The first enhancing member, the second enhancing member, and the link member are attached to an inner surface of the openable/closable cover. The first enhancing member and the second enhancing member are located on one side and the other side, respectively, of the openable/closable cover in a first direction being parallel to a pivot axis of the hinge and extend in a second direction. The link member links the first enhancing member and the second enhancing member at a position farther from the hinge than one of the LED units located closest to the hinge in the second direction.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member, a transfer member, an acquiring portion, an applying portion, and a controller. When a transfer voltage is subjected to constant-voltage control so that the transfer voltage applied to the transfer member by the applying portion is substantially constant, in a case that the transfer voltage, when a toner amount used for a toner image is a first toner amount, is a first voltage, the controller controls the applying portion so that the transfer voltage is a second voltage smaller lower in absolute value than the first voltage in a case that the toner amount is a second toner amount larger greater than the first toner amount. The acquiring portion acquires toner amount information on the toner amount for each toner image transferred onto a single recording material.
