Abstract:
Systems, devices, apparatus and methods for providing a semi-automatic rifle with ammunition magazine, having a docking port/station for allowing a semi-automatic pistol to be inserted. The trigger on the pistol can be used to fire the rifle and use the rifle ammunition. When the rifle ammunition is depleted, the pistol can be removed and separately fired using its' own ammunition.
Abstract:
An electronic weapon with an installed deployment unit, from which at least one tethered electrode is launched, provides a stimulus current through a target to inhibit locomotion by the target. The wire tether, also called a filament, conducts the stimulus current. The one or more electrodes, according to various aspects of the present invention, perform one or more of the following functions in any combination: binding the filament to the electrode, deploying the filament from the deployment unit, coupling the electrode to the target, and distributing a current density with respect to a region of target tissue and/or a volume of target tissue. For an electrode that includes a body and a spear, the spear may be implemented with conductive rings or with materials that include integrated conductive and insulative substances (e.g., conductive fibers in insulative composite material). Relatively high electric field flux density at a tip of the spear may be reduced or avoided by practice of the invention.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention would comprise a light-emitting component and a less-than-lethal-agent-emitting component. An exemplary light-emitting component would comprise an exemplary broad-light-emitting device, such as, for example, a flashlight component, and an exemplary narrow-light-emitting device, such as, for example, a laser light. An exemplary apparatus would further comprise an exemplary less-than-lethal-agent-emitting component, such as, for example, an exemplary lachrymatory-agent-emitting device that would be capable of emitting an exemplary lachrymatory agent.
Abstract:
A firearm apparatus to be worn on the user's forearm generally having a firearm body that includes a magazine pack and a power source box that extend on opposite sides of the firearm body for supporting the firearm on the wearer's forearm. The combination of a base surface of the gun body with the magazine pack and the power source box further defines an open sleeve that conforms to the wearer's forearm with first and second fastener material straps for securing the user's forearm for operation of the firearm apparatus. The gun body has an electrical wire that is electrically connected to the firearm's internal triggering assembly and the firearm's external triggering means. The electrical wire includes a first connect and a second connect such that the firearm apparatus is operable by touching the first connect with the second connect in order to complete the electrical circuit.
Abstract:
A method is performed by an electronic weapon system. The electronic weapon system is aimed in a first direction toward a target. The method includes, deploying an electrode of the system in a second direction different from the first direction, to compensate for drag of a tether wire deployed with the electrode. For example, a tether wire deployed from a tether wire store located adjacent to a cavity from which the electrode is propelled may exert a drag force causing inaccuracies of the propelled electrode. Compensation is accomplished, for example, by virtue of shaping the cavity. Compensation improves accuracy of the electrode striking the target.
Abstract:
A method for controlling discharge of an electric stun device and an electric stun device. Status information is obtained from at least a second electric stun device via a wireless interface and a decision is taken, considering the status information, indicating if it is proper to discharge the electric stun device. An electric stun device comprising a wireless network interface capable of receiving authoritative information from at least another wireless device and a discharge control module that receives the authoritative information from the wireless network interface assesses whether the authoritative information indicates that the electric stun device is permitted to discharge.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a small-calibre defence system, characterised by the use of an unconventional process, with the following main characteristics: the absence of a trigger and hammer, which are replaced by firing mechanisms in the form of a handle (B) inside which the percussion system (C) is activated by rotating it in relation to the barrels (E), thus forcing the striker to move up a ramp thereby compressing the tensor system, after which it is released and the firearm is detonated, this merely being an example of what the invention covers; the novelty of its design, which has been devised in order to make it difficult or impossible for a child to activate it; it is assembled longitudinally in multiple barrels (E), with a manually tightened rotating safety lock (D), contrary to the buttons and catches of similar firearms; it has a integrated Progressive Impact Area Indicator laser sight (F) which functions progressively according to distance; and it has a foldaway grip (G).
Abstract:
A primer-fired ammunition cartridge for an electrical discharge weapon having a housing with an exterior surface and two wire-tethered darts positioned within dart chambers in the housing and two electrical contacts positioned on opposite surfaces of the housing for lengthening an electrical arc path across the exterior surface of the housing. The housing can include a flange portion for engaging a chamber in an electrical discharge weapon wherein the flange portion includes an aperture thereby allowing the flange portion to bow and absorb resultant forces between the ammunition cartridge and the chamber of the electrical discharge weapon during firing of the cartridge.
Abstract:
A body mounted weapons platform is disclosed that attaches to a user's forearm and allows the user to mount within it one or two firearms (depending on the user's preferred embodiment) and two cameras. Both embodiments of the body mounted weapons platform will help improve optical reconnaissance, firearm safety, and targeting skills.
Abstract:
An electrical immobilization weapon to incapacitate a target to improve the effective range of the device along with increasing safety to the target. The embodiments include a first and second arm rotating horizontally from the device, a first and second electrically conductive dart angled to improve electrically conductive dart spacing at differing distances, and a split bipolar waveform to reduce the cardiac membrane potential of the target.
