    摘要： A machine gun top cover assembly includes a top cover door attached to a main housing. The top cover assembly defines a rear transverse track section and a front transverse track section for guiding bolt assemblies of the gun. As the machine gun rotor assembly rotates, the rear track section prevents the bolt assemblies from moving into position for firing, and the front track section guides the bolt assemblies into position for firing. A selector switch on the top cover door selects between: (i) a safe position wherein, each of the bolt assemblies are sequentially directed into the rear track section; and (ii) a fire position wherein the bolt assemblies are directed into the front track section. The top cover assembly can include a solenoid for moving the selector switch between the safe position and the fire position in response to an electrical control signal.

The components are connected to the modular assemblies and the modular assemblies to each other by means of rails and guides and complementary rails and guides for the assemblies, by binders and holders, by pins, bolts and quick release fasteners.

    摘要： A gun frame comprising one or more regions to which a non-lethal (e.g., a flashlight or laser sight) or less-lethal component (e.g., tear gas, pepper spray, or an electrical weapon) may be attached is disclosed. The gun frame may also support a dual-trigger system. A gun comprising the disclosed gun frame with the dual triggering system comprises one trigger which fires a traditional gun's payload, and a second trigger which causes a non-lethal or less-lethal component to fire, while blocking the accidental firing of the traditional payload. Most embodiments of the gun comprising the disclosed frame also have a rechargeable battery, preferably mounted on the gun's magazine, which powers those components requiring electricity.

    摘要： In a firing mechanism for Gatling-type guns, separate safing and firing cams are located at a firing position coinciding with a notch in an annular safing ring against which cocking levers ride to maintain their firing pins in pre-cocked conditions. To safe the firing mechanism, the safing cam is positioned to bridge the notch and maintain the firing pins pre-cocked as they revolve through the firing position. When the mechanism is armed, a cocking ramp surface of the firing cam is then positioned to cam the cocking levers rearwardly, cocking their firing pins. Immediately thereafter, the cocking levers drop off a firing cam sear corner into the notch now exposed by the safing cam to successively fire off ammunition rounds.

    摘要： A muzzle loading firearm having a receiver for housing and supporting all moving parts of the firearm, and for accommodating either one or two barrels. In the two-barrel arrangement, an upper barrel is disposed in parallel directly above a lower barrel, and independent hammer and trigger mechanisms are provided to permit independent firing of the barrels. The receiver is formed with a flash transfer orifice communicating with each barrel, and in both the one-barrel and two-barrel arrangements a flash transfer orifice extends vertically to a lower surface of the receiver to operatively cooperate with a bottom-mounted hammer arrangement.
