摘要: A method of conditioning air includes controlling, by a thermostat, an HVAC system to condition the air within an enclosed space according to one or more temperature setpoints stored in a memory of the thermostat and the temperature within the enclosed space. Weather data for outside the enclosed space is received and compared to a previously received preference. The HVAC system is controlled to condition the air according to the one or more temperature setpoints and the temperature within the enclosed space when the weather data does not satisfy the preference. When the weather data satisfies the preference, the user is notified that heating or cooling by the HVAC system will be turned off and that the user should open the at least one opening to outside of the enclosed space, and the thermostat controls the HVAC system to stop conditioning the air.

摘要: A system and method of monitoring the performance of a heating, ventilation, or air conditioning (HVAC) system including a controller in communication with a HVAC unit where the method includes monitoring environmental conditions using a controller. Environmental conditions, such as indoor air temperature, indoor humidity and outdoor temperature are measured and used to compute performance parameters that help diagnose HVAC performance problems. The rate of change of indoor air temperature (IATR) and rate of change of indoor humidity (IDHR) are computed and used to determine the sensible heat ratio of the cooling system. The sensible heat ratio, which may or may not be adjusted for transient startup, is used in concert with product performance data, indoor air temperature, indoor humidity, and outdoor air temperature to determine cooling system airflow.

摘要: An air damper assembly for an air duct having an interior wall and an exterior wall is provided. The air damper assembly includes a damper plate having a periphery and multiple teeth spaced at least partially around and extending from the periphery. The multiple teeth vary in length from a maximum to a minimum over a span of approximately 90 degrees around the periphery. The air damper assembly further includes an axle assembly fixedly coupled to the damper plate and rotatably coupled to the air duct. Rotation of the axle assembly causes the damper plate to rotate within the air duct between a fully open position and a fully closed position to increase or decrease a flow of fluid through the air duct.

摘要: An automated communicating system continuously derives differential pressure relative to a reference and provides a user display of this value. The system may include, among other elements, a remote transmitter, multiple receiving devices, a visual display, pre and post processing algorithms, a user interface to input a pressure set point, and a one or more air quality sensors. A differential pressure is derived from two absolute pressure readings, resulting in a determination of space over- or under-pressurization relative to a set point. Post-processing algorithms and filters are applied to the final output data stream prior to visual display of the space over- or under-pressure conditions. Calibration may be based on a zeroization method to determine an offset value used by the pressure algorithm to address differences between absolute pressure sensors production offsets, drift, and altitude differences between the physical placement of the two absolute sensors. A visual display depicts air quality through display of airborne molecule levels and space pressurization to provide ventilation and an air flow at-a-glance gauge.

摘要: The present disclosure proposes a method for when the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) is called for by a thermostat, the GeoFlo HVAC System first exhausts a heat sink in the basement, before calling for an evaporator to be activated. When the heat sink in the basement is cooling the conditioned space, by geothermally dispersing heat into the earth, the GeoFlo HVAC turns off the evaporator. Alternatively, the system acts as a substitute for an AC evaporator. Variations of the GeoFlo HVAC system and a control box designed to move heat from one area of a building to another using the existing HVAC system are also disclosed.

摘要: A gas detection purification device is disclosed and includes a main body, a purification unit, a gas guider, a gas detection module and a controlling-driving module. The main body includes an inlet, an outlet, an external socket and a gas-flow channel disposed between the inlet and the outlet. The purification unit is disposed in the gas-flow channel for filtering gas introduced through the gas-flow channel. The gas guider is disposed in the gas channel and located at a side of the purification unit. The gas is inhaled through the inlet, flows through the purification unit and is discharged out through the outlet. The gas detection module is plugged into or detached from the external socket. The controlling driving module is disposed within the main body and electrically connected to the gas guider to control the operation of the gas guider in an enabled state and a disabled state.

The system includes one or more sensors configured to measure one or more characteristics of a first fluid within an air duct of the BMS and measure one or more characteristics of a second fluid after the second fluid has been filtered. The system further includes a pollutant management system configured to receive data from the one or more sensors and control a filtration process. The filtration process selects a filter of a plurality of filters based on at least one of a level of the one or more characteristics of the first fluid or the one or more characteristics of the second fluid.
