Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to an HVAC system in which multiple indoor units are coupled to central outdoor unit, where at least one of the indoor units is configured to provide conditioned air through ductwork and at least one indoor unit is configured to provide conditioned air without ductwork. Moreover, a gas furnace can be provided in the system, for harsher environments that benefit from more robust heating. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

The voltage drop device may include a transformer and a communication voltage output device provided at a secondary side of the transformer to output a direct current (DC) voltage for operation of a communication device. Accordingly, a voltage may be stably supplied to the communication device while reducing standby power.

摘要: An air conditioner and a compressor protection circuit thereof are provided. When overcurrent occurs in a phase current of a compressor, an overcurrent level signal is output by a voltage comparison module, and is latched and output to an intelligent power module by a signal latching module, and the intelligent power module shuts off the output of the phase current according to the overcurrent level signal, so as to achieve the overcurrent protection of the compressor; and subsequently, a conventional level signal is output to the signal latching module by the voltage comparison module, the signal latching module keeps outputting the overcurrent level signal, and outputs the conventional level signal until a latching cancel signal output by a signal processing circuit is received, so that the intelligent power module starts the output of the phase current, thereby enabling the compressor to normally operate.

The outdoor unit further includes a second bypass circuit for connecting a bottom portion of the liquid tank to an inlet side of the accumulator via an electromagnetic valve.
