    摘要: A device for inspecting a spark plug insulator for bending, the spark plug insulator including a cylindrical body having a radially enlarged flange at an axially intermediate portion thereof, and a through hole formed in the body along an axial direction of the body. The inspection device includes an insulator supporting means for supporting the spark plug insulator so as to be slidable in an axial direction of the spark plug insulator, a linear inspection pin that is to be inserted into the through hole of the spark plug insulator supported by the insulator supporting means, and a detecting means for detecting a sliding movement of the spark plug insulator when the spark plug insulator is caused to slide in the axial direction thereof by the inspection pin by the inspection pin prevented from completely penetrating the through hole of the spark plug insulator owing to bending of the spark plug insulator which exceeds a predetermined tolerance.

    摘要: A light source and method for making the same are disclosed. The light source includes a plurality of Segmented LEDs connected in parallel to a power bus and a controller. The power bus accepts a variable number of Segmented LEDs. The controller receives AC power and provides a power signal on the power bus. Each Segmented LED is characterized by a driving voltage that is greater than 3 times the driving voltage of a conventional LED fabricated in the same material system as the Segmented LED. The number of Segmented LEDs in the light source is chosen to compensate for variations in the light output of individual Segmented LEDs introduced by the manufacturing process. In another aspect of the invention, the number of Segmented LEDs connected to the power bus can be altered after the light source is assembled.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for automatically supplying a pattern signal for testing and adjusting a screen of a video display device such as a cathode ray tube (CRT) assembly. When a pallette stops at a certain working position, the pallette is pushed to the direction vertical to a transporting direction of a conveyor belt and toward the operator and then fixed. Afterwards, due to the operation of a cylinder, connecting rods and a pattern signal supply terminal are connected to a connector which is electrically connected to the CRT assembly, and thereby the pattern signal for testing and adjusting the screen is supplied. The mobility in every direction generated in moving the connecting rods by the operation of the cylinder is properly controlled by an elastic element. In addition, by buffering the rapid rectilinear movement of a piston rod caused by the operation of the cylinder, the pattern signal supply terminal is smoothly connected to the connector for testing and adjusting the screen of the CRT assembly.

    摘要: The present invention provides a lighting system with a color indicator surface (24, 30). The surface receives light via a cover (18) of the lighting system, mainly through internal reflection. Hence, the light from the light sources, here at least two different colored LEDs (14), is guided away from the main light emitting surface (20), such that well-mixed light with a lower intensity may be used to determine the color of the light. The color indicator surface may be a surface (24) of the cover (18), or may be a surface (30) of a separate outer part (26). The lighting system may be used to illuminate objects in houses, shops and so on. The color indicator surface provides a convenient and easily accessible color reference.
