摘要: Proposed is a connection tube support of a waste heat recovery boiler supporting a connection tube unit having a plurality of connection tubes that is disposed inside a waste heat recovery boiler and perform heat exchange between a fluid flowing inside and exhaust gas flowing outside, wherein the connection tube support includes a header storing fluid flowing through the connection tube unit and supporting one end of the connection tube unit by being connected to one end of the connection tube unit, and a tube sheet supporting a circumferential surface of each of the plurality of connection tubes, wherein the tube sheet has the plurality of connection tubes having been passed therethrough and is provided with a plurality of support holes respectively supporting circumferential surfaces of the plurality of connection tubes having been passed therethrough.

摘要: The method for fabrication of corrosion-resistant tubing using minimal quantities of specialized material results in corrosion-resistant tubes with a reduced capital cost. In contrast, the disclosed method uses a straight weld made along the length of the tube, rather than a spiral weld that follows its circumference. The straight weld passes up and down the tube, but only on one side, or approximately 50%, of the tube. Following application of the corrosion-resistant material by straight welding, two or more tubes are joined together into an array.

The electricity generated by the nuclear power plant may be used to drive the heat pump. The system is instrumental with regard to generating heat for industrial applications.

摘要: An energy storage system converts variable renewable electricity (VRE) to continuous heat at over 1000° C. Intermittent electrical energy heats a solid medium. Heat from the solid medium is delivered continuously on demand. Heat delivery via flowing gas establishes a thermocline which maintains high outlet temperature throughout discharge. The delivered heat which may be used for processes including power generation and cogeneration. In one application, the energy storage system provides higher-temperature heat to a conventional lower-temperature heat source to boost the temperature of a thermal power cycle working fluid to a turbine, thereby increasing efficiency of the power cycle.

摘要: A method for predicting a blowdown rate of one or more boilers includes generating output data with a first model that specifies an empirical relationship between multiple input temperatures, multiple plant gas feed rates, and multiple outputs of the boilers. The method further includes collecting an ambient operating temperature and a current steam demand of the boilers and comparing the ambient operating temperature and the current steam demand to the output data to determine a current required blowdown rate. Once determined, the blowdown rate of the boilers is adjusted according to the current required blowdown rate.
