摘要: The invention relates to an injection module (2) for a conveyor assembly (1) of a fuel cell system (31) for conveying and/or recirculating a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, in which: the injection module (2) has a communicating opening (29) and/or an inlet opening (3), by means of which the gaseous medium flows into the injection module (2); the injection module (2) has a small nozzle body (13) having a first drive nozzle (12) and a large nozzle body (15) having a second drive nozzle (14), by means of which (12, 14) the gaseous medium flows out of the injection module (2); the small nozzle body (13) is disposed movably in the direction of a longitudinal axis (52) in the large nozzle body (8) and/or in the injection module (2); the small nozzle body (13) and the large nozzle body (15) each have a gas flow path (III, IV); the gaseous medium can flow either only through the first gas flow path III or through the first gas flow path III and the second gas flow path IV simultaneously; the second gas flow path IV can be opened or closed by means of a movement of the small nozzle body (13). According to the invention, the small nozzle body (13) abuts a stop disc (30) and/or at least indirectly abuts the large nozzle body (15), and thus forms an opening pressure surface (22); the opening pressure surface (22) and a closing pressure surface (24), in particular located at the outflow end of the small nozzle body, are at least almost the same size; the opening pressure surface (22) can be subjected to a dynamic pressure (44) at the inflow end.

摘要: An aspirator assembly for inflating an emergency slide. The aspirator assembly includes a bell housing, a mixing chamber, and a nozzle assembly. The bell housing includes a ring defining an inlet port at which a check valve is located and into which ambient air can flow. The mixing chamber has an outlet port, The nozzle assembly is located in the mixing chamber and includes plural passageway sections defining concentric rings and cross bars. The passageway sections include internal passageways in communication with plural nozzle jets through which a compressed air is introduced into the mixing chamber to mix with the ambient air. The passageway sections are of an airfoil shape cross-section having a rounded leading end directed towards the inlet port and a trailing end is directed toward the outlet port to reduce air turbulence within the mixing chamber.

摘要: An Environmental Control System (ECS) for an aircraft includes a ram air system having a ram inlet and a ram outlet. The ECS includes a cabin air compressor motor, a diverter valve, and a dedicated outlet. The cabin air compressor motor has a motor inlet passage and a motor outlet passage with the motor inlet passage being coupled to the ram inlet. The diverter valve includes a first diverter inlet, a first diverter outlet, and a second diverter outlet. The first diverter inlet is coupled to the motor outlet passage. The dedicated outlet is connected to the first diverter outlet in a flight mode of operation of the aircraft and the ram outlet is connected to the second diverter outlet in a ground mode of operation of the aircraft.

摘要: A jet pump comprising a jet nozzle for accelerating a propellant. The jet nozzle has a convergent inlet part and an outlet part connected to the convergent inlet part. The outlet comprises an inner wall diverging at an opening angle. The opening angle is designed such that a propellant flowing through the outlet part at subsonic speed is detached from the inner wall and a propellant flowing through the outlet part at supersonic speed is guided by the inner wall. An automatic, cost-effective and simple changeover of the jet pump to different pressure ratios is hence provided.

摘要: An ejector includes a nozzle, a needle and a body. The nozzle reduces a pressure of a fluid and discharges the fluid as an injected fluid from a fluid injection port. The body includes a fluid suction port and a pressure increasing portion. The fluid suction port draws, as a suction fluid, a fluid from an outside of the body by using a suction force generated by the injected fluid. The pressure increasing portion increases a pressure of a mixture of the injected fluid and the suction fluid. The nozzle includes a throat portion and a nozzle-side tapered portion. The throat portion reduces a passage cross-sectional area of the fluid passage to be smallest in the fluid passage at the throat portion. The nozzle-side tapered portion expands the passage cross-sectional area of the fluid passage toward the downstream side in the flow direction of the fluid. In an axial cross section, an injection-flow spread angle formed on the downstream side in the flow direction of the fluid between a central axis and a tangent line of an injection-flow center line at the fluid injection port is 0° or greater.

摘要: Clamps can be secured to a slip joint and limit flow through the same by seating on a diffuser axially regardless of wear and damage in the slip joint. An extension from the clamp seats to the inlet mixer. These extensions can be adjusted from outside the clamp to achieve an individual preload or flow limitation through the slip joint. The extension may be an O-ring or other shape. A biasing drive may connect to and move the extension from an outside surface of the clamp. The biasing drive may include a threaded cap in an outer groove that is linked to a plunger via a spring. Clamps are fabricated of materials that maintain their physical properties when exposed to an operating nuclear reactor environment and may be relatively rigid and resilient metals.
