摘要: A drive includes an electric motor disposed in a housing and driving a motor shaft, a Hall effect sensor adjacent to the motor, a power and control assembly, and a pinion gear driven by the motor shaft. A planetary gear reduction assembly is driven by the pinion gear, and an output axle has an axis of rotation that is offset from and parallel to the motor shaft axis of rotation. The reduction drive is substantially bilaterally symmetrical about a plane passing through the motor shaft axis of rotation and the output axle axis of rotation. The power and control assembly comprises a control board oriented perpendicular to a power board and includes a heat dissipation apparatus that applies multi-point, localized, indirect pressure to a plurality of field effect transistors mounted on the power board.

The gear set is configured to operate in one of at least a first mode, a second mode, or a third mode in the first power flow direction and at least a fourth mode in the second power flow direction. The starter-generator device includes a clutch arrangement with at least one clutch selectively coupled to the gear set to effect the first, second, and third mode in the first power flow direction and the fourth mode in the second power flow direction; and a cam plate configured to shift the at least one clutch between a disengaged position and an engaged position relative to the gear set.

摘要: To suppress generation of noise during cranking, a pinion gear is fixed to a drive shaft of a starter starting an internal combustion engine. The pinion gear rotates a ring gear provided to the internal combustion engine by meshing therewith. The pinion gear includes gear teeth and an annular hollow portion located radially inside of the gear teeth. The annular hollow portion accommodates a vibration absorber to absorb vibration generated in the gear tooth.

摘要: A combination starter-generator device is provided for a work vehicle having an engine. The starter-generator device includes an electric machine and a gear set configured to receive rotational input from the electric machine and from the engine and to couple the electric machine and the engine in a first power flow direction and a second power flow direction. The gear set is configured to operate a first, second, or third gear ratio in the first power flow direction and a fourth gear ratio in the second power flow direction. At least one clutch is selectively coupled to the gear set to effect the first, second, and third gear ratios in the first power flow direction and the fourth gear ratio in the second power flow direction. A magnetic cam assembly is configured to shift the at least one clutch from a disengaged position into an engaged position.

摘要: A method is provided to start a combustion engine in a hybrid powertrain, comprising a gearbox with input shaft and output shaft; which combustion engine is connected to the input shaft; a first planetary gear connected to the input shaft; a second planetary gear connected to the first planetary gear; first and second electrical machines, respectively connected to the first and second planetary gears; at least one gear pair, connected with the first planetary gear and the output shaft; and at least one gear pair, connected with the second planetary gear and the output shaft. The method comprises connecting the rotatable components of the second planetary gear with each other by connecting, via a second coupling device, a second sun wheel arranged in the second planetary gear and a second planetary wheel carrier with each other, and activating the first and second electrical machines to start the combustion engine.
