摘要: A downhole imaging tool and method of operating the tool in a wellbore. An imaging sensor array at an end of the tool is rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the tool to image the well by sweeping out a 2D area of the well. Actuators in the tool provide rotation and/or extension of the sensor array to change perspective. An ultrasound phased-array may be used to measure and identify features of the well or objects.

摘要: In a manual/automatic non-electric-connection borehole clinometer for a landslide, a clinometer probe completes borehole inclination measurement; a hoisting mechanism is connected to the clinometer probe by a pull rope; and a first tooth disc of an automatic clutch and a first tooth disc of a manual clutch are fixed to a left shaft end and a right shaft end of the hoisting mechanism respectively, a second tooth disc of the automatic clutch is fixed to a driving shaft of an electric driving mechanism and selectively meshes with or moves away from the first tooth disc of the automatic clutch, and a second tooth disc of the manual clutch is fixed to a driving shaft of a manual driving mechanism and selectively meshes with or moves away from the first tooth disc of the manual clutch.

摘要: A wireline apparatus is for moving a tool into or out of a well. The apparatus is configured for forming a pressure vessel in combination with at least a portion of the well. The apparatus has: a first compartment for forming part of the pressure vessel; a hoisting means, the hoisting means being placed inside the first compartment; a wireline connected to the hoisting means; a second compartment arranged inside the first compartment; an electrical motor for driving the hoisting means, the electrical motor placed inside the second compartment; and a drive shaft for connecting the motor to the hoisting means, the drive shaft extending from the motor to the hoisting means through a wall separating the first compartment and second compartment. A method is for moving the tool in the well.

The BHA adapted for manipulating one or more target sleeve valves spaced along a wellbore having a sleeve shifting tool and a sealing element. Methods of deploying a BHA for fracturing operations connected by wireline in a casing of a wellbore are also provided including obtaining real time sensor data from the BHA.

摘要: A depth positioning method to position a production logging tool (1) and a measurement log in a hydrocarbon well (3) in production obtained by means of the tool, the depth positioning method comprises: generating (S1, S2, S3, S1′, S2′, S3′, S11, S12, S13) a set of magnetic measurements (MAG1, MAG) of a depth portion of the hydrocarbon well from a first passive magnetic sensor along the depth portion of the hydrocarbon well, the set of magnetic measurements comprising magnitude and/or direction measurements of the magnetic field that forms a characteristic magnetic field pattern representative of a surrounding magnetic environment of the hydrocarbon well all along the depth portion; comparing (S4, S4′, S14) the set of magnetic measurements (MAG1, MAG) to another set of magnetic measurements (MAG_R, MAG2), the other set of magnetic measurements being a reference set of magnetic measurements generated either by a same or similar passive magnetic sensor deployed and run in the hydrocarbon well earlier, or by a second passive magnetic sensor spaced from the first passive magnetic sensor from a defined distance (DS) deployed and run in the hydrocarbon well simultaneously; and determining (S4, S4′, S14) the maximum of correlation between the set of magnetic measurements (MAG1, MAG) and the reference set of magnetic measurements (MAG_R, MAG2), the maximum being related to identifiable characteristic magnetic field pattern over a part of the depth portion.

摘要: A release tool can include an inner mandrel, an electric motor assembly, and an engagement member. The inner mandrel is displaceable by the electric motor assembly between a position in which the inner mandrel supports the engagement member and prevents separation of portions of the release tool, and another position in which the engagement member is not supported by the inner mandrel and separation of the portions of the release tool is permitted. A method of separating portions of a release tool in a well can include transmitting an electrical signal to an electrical motor assembly of the release tool, displacing an inner mandrel of the release tool in response to the transmitting, and separating the portions of the release tool after the displacing.
