Abstract: The present invention relates to a winch clutch and a winch thereof. The winch clutch comprises a first gear ring, a drive motor, a rotary member, a transmission member, a clutching member and an elastic reset member. The clutching member is separably connected to the plurality of clutch portions of the first gear ring to stop the first gear ring. Compared with the prior art, the winch clutch of the present invention uses the drive motor to drive the rotary member to rotate, and achieves connection or separation between the clutching member and the clutch portions on the first gear ring through the transmission member, so as to control the winch to start or stop. Compared with conventional manual clutches, manual operation is not required and operation is convenient in the present invention, completely solving the problem of a failure of a vehicle winch clutch.

Abstract: Disclosed is a brake winch with reverse release and self-locking functions. The brake winch has a housing with first and second side walls, an accommodating space, and an auxiliary bracket part. A rotating disk is screwed in the accommodating space. A main shaft is screwed on one side of the rotating disk in an interlocking manner. A screw adapter is screwed on the second side wall, and includes an inner connection end that is assembled with the main shaft, and its external end has a threaded groove. The axial displacement of a driving screw, which is screwed on the auxiliary bracket, is matched with the difference of forward and reverse rotation to form a screwing transmission or release mode between the stud section and the thread groove. A friction driving mechanism must prompt the drive screw, the clamping plate and the screw adapter to be in a tightly synchronized state.

Abstract: A brake is operationally coupled by gear engagement to an axle of a device, whereby turning on the brake prevents the axle from rotating. Monitoring condition of the brake includes driving the axle of the device in a first rotation direction when the brake has been turned on. The axle of the device is driven in a second rotation direction when the brake has been turned on. A first position angle of the axle of the device, which follows from driving the axle of the device in the first rotation direction, is measured. A second position angle of the axle of the device, which follows from driving the axle of the device in the second rotation direction, is measured. A clearance of the gear engagement of the brake is determined on the basis of a difference of the first and the second position angles.
