摘要: A one-piece stud has a central longitudinal side; a first longitudinal side joined at a 90° angle to the first end of the central longitudinal side; and a second longitudinal side joined at a 90° angle to the second end of the central longitudinal side. The central side has a first and a second planar surface joined by an acute isosceles triangular channel midway between. The first longitudinal side is formed of a third and a fourth planar surface joined by an acute isosceles triangular channel midway between. The second longitudinal side has a fifth and a sixth planar surface joined by an acute isosceles triangular channel midway between. At an end opposite the 90° joint, the first longitudinal side and the second longitudinal side have free ends each forming a gapped right isosceles triangle. The longitudinal channels increase the axial capacity and the moment capacity of the stud.

摘要: A modular stiff wall panel assembly for a building structure includes a modular wall panel having a central portion has central ribs spaced therealong, a first wall track engaged with the central portion and having first ribs spaced therealong, and a second wall track engaged with the central portion and having second ribs spaced therealong wherein the second wall track is oppositely spaced from the first wall track, and a plurality of studs engaged with the central portion, the first wall track, and the second wall track. The central ribs, the first ribs, and the second ribs are linearly aligned, respectively, and registered parallel to a longitudinal axis of the studs, respectively. The central ribs, the first ribs, and the second ribs are coplanar on a single plane and disposed at an end-to-end pattern along an entire longitudinal length of the wall panel.

摘要: An acoustic damping structural system includes studs, tracks, and acoustic damping members. The studs and tracks include a first wall, a second wall, and a third wall that define a channel. The third wall includes a first portion perpendicular to the first wall, a second portion perpendicular to the first portion, and a third portion perpendicular to the second portion to define a ledge along a length of the third wall. The tracks are coupled to a support, such as floor joists and roof beams, in parallel. Opposite ends of the studs are received in the channels of the tracks, with the acoustic damping members received on and coupled to the ledges of pairs of the studs and pairs of the tracks. The acoustic damping members are planar with the ledges and the studs and tracks, respectively.

摘要: The assembled light steel structure energy-saving composite wall in the present invention comprises: a cement board and/or ceramic tile, a column, a support rod, a cross beam, a bottom plate, a diagonal brace and a diagonal draw steel bar. In the thickness direction of the composite wall, the horizontal side of each group of columns is outside the composite wall, a plurality of support rods and diagonal braces are installed between the four second vertical sides of the columns of the each opposite group of columns. In the width direction of the composite wall, a plurality of cross beams and diagonal draw steel bars are installed between the first vertical sides of the column of the adjacent groups of columns. On both sides of the thickness direction of the composite wall, the horizontal sides of the column of the two adjacent columns are provided with a cement board and/or a ceramic tile inserted by a strip fastener and a strip, and the space enclosed by the cement board and the ceramic tile, the cement board and the cement board or the ceramic tile and the ceramic tile is filled with the filler. The assembled light steel structure wall system is simple to assemble, convenient to transport, operate and maintain, energy-saving and heat-preserving, the wall installation and wall decoration is completed at one time.

摘要: The present invention provides for a metal stud for use in sound attenuating wall systems utilizing high density, abuse resistant wallboard, the metal stud having specific steel chemical and mechanical properties to result in increased sound attenuation properties while maintaining the load carrying capacity and screw performance providing improved economics. The metal stud is a generally C shaped metal stud constructed of 0.0180 steel having at least 57 ksi strength having two parallel spaced apart flanges joined along the length of one edge by a central web and being provided with an in-turned double thickness hemmed ledge along the length of the second edge, the flanges having a width of greater than 1⅜ inches between the one edge and the second edge, each of the flanges being provided with a reinforcing rib centrally located in the flange extending the length of the flange. The central web has a main central section bordered by channel shaped ribs extending longitudinally of the stud outwardly of the central web, the edges connected to the edges of the flange.

摘要: A building construction element for the efficient erection of a building is disclosed. The construction element is attached to other construction elements to form a structure or positioned around a structure to provide protection behind the series of construction elements. The construction element includes a plurality of interlocking supports, a first coupling bracket, a second coupling bracket, an interior-wall sheet, and an exterior-wall sheet. Each of the interlocking supports engage at least one other interlocking support to form a wall. The first coupling bracket and the second coupling bracket secure the plurality of interlocking supports together. The interior-wall sheet and the exterior-wall enclose the plurality of interlocking supports, the first coupling bracket, and the second coupling bracket in order to reduce heat and sound transfer through the construction element.
