摘要: A method to evacuate a fluid mixture from an underground storage location with the use or regulation control of cross-compression technique. The method allows to evacuate and recover a fluid mixture from an underground storage location. The fluid mixture typically contains a hydrocarbon fluid phase and a brine phase. The method includes separating the fluid mixture in the hydrocarbon fluid phase and the brine phase, inside the separation vessel, and then alternatively pumping each phase of the fluid mixture contained inside the separation vessel towards dedicated containment volumes, using a single pump or multiple pumps, whereby a first containment volume is dedicated to the hydrocarbon fluid phase and a second containment volume is dedicated to the brine phase. The proposed method allows recovering a higher proportion of the fluid mixture, as recycled product, and therefore limiting the combustion or release of hydrocarbon towards the atmosphere.

摘要: The subject invention provides microbe-based products, as well as their use to improve oil production and refining efficiency by, for example, remediating the disposable layers in oil tanks and other oil storage units. In preferred embodiments, the microbe-based products comprise biochemical-producing yeast and growth by-products thereof, such as, e.g., biosurfactants. The subject invention can be used to remediate rag layer and/or other dissolved solid layers that form in water-oil emulsions. Furthermore, the subject invention can be used for remediating solid impurities, such as sand, scale, rust and clay, in produced water, flow-back, brine, and/or fracking fluids.

摘要: A solvent blend for breaking down and reducing the viscosity of petroleum substance consists essentially of one or more methyl esters of C14-C18 fatty acids, one or more C9-C20 low aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, and one or more C4-C8 high aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, with the high aromatic solvent fraction being dispersed within the solvent blend in droplet form. The solvent blend may be produced by mixing the high aromatic solvent fraction into an intermediate or base blend consisting essentially of the methyl ester fraction and the low aromatic solvent fraction, with the base blend being produced by mixing the lower aromatic solvent fraction into the methyl ester fraction such that the lower aromatic solvent fraction is dispersed within the methyl ester fraction in droplet form.

摘要: A method for enhancing water chemistry at a surface for improved well performance may include testing water at the surface to identify a pH level of the water, a type of solid-generating component in the water, and an amount of a solid-generating component in the water. The method may also include identifying a type and an amount of an additive based on identifying the type and the amount of the solid-generating component, where the additive is configured to generate a solid when mixed with the water. The method may further include mixing the water and an additive at the surface to generate the solid and enhanced water, where the solid comprises at least some of the solid-generating components of the water. The enhanced water may be usable for a field operation to cause the improved well performance, and the solid may be removable from the enhanced water at the surface.
