摘要: Provided is a supercritical drying method of a silica wet gel blanket and a method for producing a silica aerogel blanket including the same, the supercritical drying method preventing a salt from being accumulated inside equipment during supercritical drying. By preventing a salt from being accumulated inside equipment during supercritical drying, it is possible to improve the operational stability of the supercritical drying process. In addition, since only a line filter needs to be separated and is easily washed, the time required for washing and the total amount of ammonia wastewater generated therefrom can be reduced, thereby improving efficiency and reducing costs.

摘要: The present invention provides a boron-containing silica dispersion having better dispersion stability at a high concentration, and higher binding properties between boron and silica than conventional dispersions. The present invention is a boron-containing silica dispersion containing amorphous silica particles containing boron atoms and a dispersion medium; the boron-containing amorphous silica particles having an average particle size of 10 to 100 nm, as determined from 40 particles selected at random in a transmission electron micrograph; the boron-containing silica dispersion having a solids content of 5 to 30 mass %; and the boron-containing silica dispersion having a sedimentation rate of the particles of 4% or less, when the boron-containing silica dispersion is left standing for 1000 hours, and proportions of SiO2 and B2O3 of 90.0 to 99.8 mass % and 0.2 to 10.0 mass %, respectively, in 100 mass % of a total of SiO2 and B2O3, all terms of oxide, when the boron-containing silica dispersion is subjected to ultrafiltration by the following method and dried; washing is performed by sequentially adding pure water in an amount of 6 times the volume of the boron-containing silica dispersion at a flow rate of a liquid fed of 3660 ml/minute using an ultrafiltration membrane with a fraction molecular weight of 13,000.

摘要: Methods for forming and controlling morphology cracks in silicon dioxide (SiO2) film comprising: preparing SiO2precursor solution comprising solvent, precursor of SiO2, precursor of metal oxide nanocrystals, water, and acid; coating the solution onto substrate; drying the solution atop the substrate at a temperature between about 20° C. to 100° C. between 1 minute to 24 hours to form SiO2 film having uniformly dispersed metal oxide nanocrystals, wherein shorter drying times yield substantially spherical shaped metal oxide nanocrystals and longer drying times yield rod and disc shaped metal oxide nanocrystals; and thermally treating the SiO2 film between about 60° C. to 500° C. between 1 minute to 24 hours to form cracked mesh SiO2 film, wherein two cracks initiate from rod shaped metal oxide nanocrystals, three to four cracks initiate from spherical shaped metal oxide nanocrystals, and four or more cracks initiate from disc shaped metal oxide nanocrystals.
