The method involves: driving the belt along a path from an intake region to a discharge region using an intake motor adjacent the intake region and a discharge motor adjacent the discharge region; measuring a tension in the belt using an intake belt sensor that moves with the belt proximate the intake region to generate an intake belt signal; measuring a tension in the belt using a discharge belt sensor that moves with the belt proximate the discharge region to generate a discharge belt signal; monitoring the intake and discharge belt signals; and adjusting at least one of the intake motor and the discharge motor based on the intake and discharge belt signals to maintain the tensions in the belt within a pre-defined range.

    摘要: A self-aligning belt pulley, in various embodiments, includes a cylindrical roller having one or more concave portions formed in a circumferential rolling surface. In some embodiments, one or more raised peaks extend circumferentially along, and radially outwardly from, the circumferential roller surface. In various embodiments, a cylindrical roller couples with a pivoting mechanism having an elongated member that is offset and parallel to the circumferential rolling surface. The elongated member has a centrally located connection point that permits a pivoting bracket to be attached to it, thereby creating a pivot point that is anchored at an opposite end portion and automatically adjusts a position of the cylindrical roller.     摘要: According to one embodiment, a diagnostic system includes a conveyor device first and second sensors and a diagnostic device. The conveyor device includes an endless chain having a plurality of rollers coupled at regular pitches and each fit into a bush, to circularly move between a first sprocket and a second sprocket. The first and second sensors diagonally are disposed apart from each other on a moving path of the chain, irrespective of an operating direction of the conveyor device, to detect a passage of each of the rollers of the chain. The diagnostic device measures an amount of elongation of the chain based on a first detection signal output from the first sensor and a second detection signal output from the second sensor according to movement of the chain during operation of the conveyor device.

The conveyor construction further includes a series of spindle mounting assemblies that support a tensioning spindle on opposite ends of the conveyor frame. Each of the spindle mounting assemblies includes a gear rack and a pinion head that is rotatable to move the gear racks. The gear racks contact one of a pair of head plates that support the tensioning spindle relative to the frame.

    摘要: The invention relates to a set-down belt for a palletizing apparatus, comprising a circulating conveyor belt that defines a conveying face for conveying goods, a first deflection roller that is rotatable about a first axis of rotation, and a tensioning roller that is rotatable about a tensioning axis and is movable in a tensioning direction (S). Here, a second deflection roller that is rotatable about a second axis of rotation is provided, wherein the second axis of rotation extends parallel to the first axis of rotation. The tensioning roller is movable such that the tensioning axis extends in an inclined manner with respect to the first axis of rotation and in an inclined manner with respect to the second axis of rotation. The invention also relates to a palletizing apparatus that comprises at least one set-down belt according to the invention.
