    摘要: Modular conveyor chain, comprising a number of successive, mutually hingedly connected modules. The modules each comprise a link portion made of sheet metal that has a body part that forms a conveying surface. The body part is provided with a centrally located coupling piece on one side thereof, and a pair of interspaced coupling pieces on an opposite side thereof that include an interspace in between. The coupling pieces of successive modules cooperate to form a hinge assembly because the centrally located coupling piece of a link portion is received in the interspace between the interspaced coupling pieces of a link portion of a successive module, and because a hinge pin extends through aligned receiving spaces of the cooperating coupling pieces. The modular conveyor chain further includes a plastic bearing element received between the centrally located coupling piece and the hinge pin. The hinge pin has a substantially constant cross section, and a central portion of the hinge pin is provided with a bearing element that has a closed cross section and extends along the hinge pin at the location of the central coupling element only. Opposing ends of the hinge pins are each provided with an end cap that includes a mantle portion that extends along the hinge pin at the location of an interspaced coupling piece only, and a radially inwardly extending flange portion that cooperates with an end face of the hinge pin.

    摘要: An injection molded plastic chain module comprising a substantially elongate conveying body and a hinge structure located at a bottom side of the module for hingedly connecting a front and a rear side of the module with adjacent modules. The conveying body comprises two wing shaped portions extending laterally away from the hinge structure, and comprising a respective top plate portion that defines a part of a supporting surface for supporting products to be transported, wherein each of said top plate portions has a thickness of less than ⅓ of the total thickness of the respective wing shaped portion. Further, each wing shaped portion comprises one or more downwardly extending supporting wall portions for supporting the respective top plate portion. The module may merely consist of a plurality of relatively thin plate and/or wall portions, preferably all having a substantially equal thickness.

The system comprises a conveyor belt configured to transport a plurality of automobiles at a controlled displacement velocity along a manufacturing path through the automobile factory. A feedback device is configured to provide a visual indicator of a designated position at which a next automobile is to be placed on the conveyor belt relative to the position of a previous automobile. The designated position is calculated as a function of the cycle time and the displacement velocity of the conveyor belt.

    摘要: A modular conveyor, comprising a plurality of modules successive in transport direction, each comprising a body part with a transport surface for transporting products thereon, which body part during use is hingedly coupled via a hinge pin to the body part of a successive module. The successive modules are adjustable from an assembly position to an operative position. In the working position the hinge pin can be introduced from outside of the body parts into a receiving space formed by the successive modules or can be taken out of that receiving space to outside of the body parts due to that the hinge pin is released by the body parts to move in longitudinal direction and/or transverse direction of its longitudinal axis. In the operative position the hinge pin is retained in the receiving space formed by the body parts of the successive modules due to that the movement of the hinge pin both in longitudinal direction and in transverse direction of its longitudinal axis is limited by the body parts.

    摘要: A transfer device (19), comprising a carrier (21) including a number of mutually spaced-apart, substantially parallel extending transfer fingers (22) that in use reach into grooves (14) between ribs (13) on a conveying surface of a grooved conveyor belt (2). Back parts (23) of the fingers form a comb shaped part (24) of a substantially planar slide-over surface (25) of the transfer device. The carrier further includes a conveyor guide track (26) that is lowered with respect to the slide over surface and that extends transversely to the fingers, and that in use is provided with a cross conveyor belt (6) movable in a conveying direction transversely to the fingers, so that a conveying surface (9) of the cross conveyor belt forms a conveying part (27) of the slide-over surface that is substantially contiguous to and flush with the comb shaped part (24). At a side opposite to the fingers the carrier further includes a hinge connection (29) extending transversely to the fingers, and being spaced apart from the fingers. The conveying track and the return guide comprise a bend segment where the conveying part and the return part of the conveyor mat, respectively, are guided in their planes through a bend. The gear drive drives the conveyor mat only in an area corresponding to the outer side of the bend segment where successive modules of the conveyor mat are substantially pitched, and leaves the conveyor mat free in an area corresponding to the inner side of the bend segment where successive modules of the conveyor mat are at least partly slid into each other. A flow profile (Fm) of the products (1) in the control zone (15) is measured. The measured flow profile (Fm) is compared to one or more predetermined flow patterns (P1,P2,P3) for controlling the transport based on the comparison. Preferably, the flow profile (Fm) is measured by a sensor device (20) disposed adjacent the transported products, e.g. using LIDAR.
