Abstract: A support assembly may be configured for connections with, adjustment along, and removal from a track assembly. The support assembly may include a support member and/or an electrical connector. The electrical connector may be adjustably connected to the support member and adjustable to a first position and a second position relative to the support member. The electrical connector may include a first contact configured to engage a first conductor of said track assembly. The first contact may be engageable with said first conductor when the electrical connector is in the first position. The electrical connector may be configured such that the first contact is disposed at a distance from said first conductor when the electrical connector is in the second position. The first contact may be movably connected to the electrical connector such that the first contact is movable relative to the electrical connector and the support member.

Abstract: A seat rail system for a vehicle includes an upper rail and a stationary lower rail attached to a floor structure. The upper rail is attached to a vehicle seat and is movable relative to the lower rail. The upper rail comprises first and second side sections with a cavity between the side sections. The lower rail includes first and second lateral side elements respectively connected to the first and second side sections. An elongated load member is attached to the lower rail, where an upper part of which extends into the cavity. A lower part of the load member is connected to the floor structure. The first lateral side element blocks lateral movement of the first side section and the second lateral side element blocks lateral movement of the second side section upon deformation of the upper rail in a vehicle impact event.

The second stud member includes a connecting portion that defines a connecting portion opening and that is sized to fit between the first securing portion and the second securing portion. The pin extends through the first securing portion opening, the connecting portion opening, and the second securing portion opening.

In the vehicle seat fitted with the electrically powered slide rail, the rail is connected to a floor of a vehicle, and the slider is connected to a seat cushion.

Abstract: A long rail assembly for use in an automotive vehicle has a long rail, a power rail drive assembly, and a latch assembly. The latch assembly removably couples the vehicle seat to the power rail drive assembly. When the latch assembly is latched, the seat is capable of power sliding adjustment and can be moved along a channel axis to a desired position within the interior of the vehicle. When the latch assembly is unlatched, the entire seat can be removed from the vehicle to provide for added space and variability in the vehicle interior configuration.

Abstract: A seating assembly for a vehicle includes a first seat including a first seat base coupled with a backrest. A second seat includes a seat back and a second seat base pivotably coupled with the seat back and moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A locking feature between the second seat base and the seat back is moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking feature engages the second seat base in the locked position. The locking feature is disengaged from the second seat base in the unlocked position. A connection interface between the backrest and the seat back includes an engaging member and a receiving member. The engaging member selectively engages the receiving member to secure the second seat to the first seat in an attached configuration.

Abstract: An anchor for a support member of a track system may include an anchor body, a toothed anchor portion, and an anchor member. The anchor body may be connectable to said support member. The toothed anchor portion may include a plurality of anchor teeth configured to engage a plurality of track teeth of a toothed portion of a track assembly. The anchor member may be configured to facilitate engagement of the plurality of anchor teeth and said plurality of track teeth. The anchor body, the toothed anchor portion, and the anchor member may be connected to one another to collectively form a hook portion configured to engage said toothed portion of said track assembly.
