摘要: A vibration absorbed tire is provided which has a laminated structure that contains dilantant layer causing reaction rate differences in the cross-sectional direction and thus functions without impairing the motion characteristics of the tire even with only a single or a few very thin layers, whereby the tire is easy to manufacture and has reduced cost. The tire has the laminated structure, which includes the dilantant layer which is a layer where particles and a bonding material thereof are arranged to act as dilantant, and in which the particles are arranged so that the distribution density of the particles decreases toward the upper and the lower surface from the central part of the layer.

摘要: An apparatus to reduce skidding of a vehicle tire on the road surface, creates a vacuum between the tire and the road surface when the wheels slip, especially during heavy braking. A number of conduits are attached to the inner side of the tire, each of them extended from a hole in the rim to some of the tread voids. A vacuum head is placed in contact with the rim and sweeps the perforated part of the rim as the wheel rotates. The vacuum head sucks air from the only voids which are precisely in the road contact area, through some of the conduits. A special tread pattern closes off these voids with respect to the ambient atmosphere.

摘要: A pneumatic tire is disclosed having two annular bead portions having a bead core. A carcass extends between the bead portions through sidewall portions and a tread portion, wherein the carcass includes at least two axially inner plies which extend down from the tread and axially inward of the bead core, said at least two axially inner plies being wound around the bead core forming respective turn-ups, each turnup being located axially outward of the bead core. The carcass further includes a first axially outer ply which extends down from the tread towards the bead core and positioned axially outward of the bead core, wherein at least one of the axially inner plies is formed from reinforcements having a higher break strength than the reinforcements of the other plies.

摘要: A pneumatic tire to reduce separation of a carcass ply from inner and outer core pieces (5i, 5o) and improve steering stability. A radially inner end portion of the carcass ply is held between the inner and outer core pieces (5i, 5o) without turning-up around a bead core. The inner and outer core pieces (5i, 5o) are made of helical body of bead cord (10i, 10o) helically winding around a tire axis. In the inner core piece (5i), the final twisting direction of the bead cord (10i) is the same as the winding direction around the tire axis of the bead cord (10i) in side view from axial outward of the tire. In the outer core piece (5o), the final twisting direction of the bead cord (10o) is opposite to the winding direction of the bead cord (10o).

摘要: A self-inflating tire assembly includes an air tube connected to a tire and defining an air passageway, the air tube being composed of a flexible material operative to allow an air tube segment opposite a tire footprint to flatten, closing the passageway, and resiliently unflatten into an original configuration. The air tube is sequentially flattened by the tire footprint in a direction opposite to a tire direction of rotation to pump air along the passageway to a inlet control valve. The inlet control valve regulates the inlet air flow to the air tube and the outlet air flow to the tire cavity.

According to the present invention, the multilayer structure includes a barrier layer 2 made of polymer material with 50% or less elongation at break conforming to JIS K 7113 at 20° C. and 65% RH and an elastomer layer 3 made of polymer material with 100% or more elongation at break conforming to JIS K 7113 at 20° C. and 65% RH, wherein a plastic deformation amount at the time of 100% strain input is larger than a deformation amount at a tolerance point.
