    Abstract: A straight line along the second line segment and a straight line along the fourth line segment form an acute angle. The straight line along the second line segment and the straight line along the third line segment form an obtuse angle. The straight line along the first line segment and the straight line along the fourth line segment form an obtuse angle. Each of the third curved portion and the fourth curved portion is larger in radius of curvature than the first curved portion and larger in radius of curvature than the second curved portion. In a direction perpendicular to the bottom surface, a distance between the top surface and the bottom surface is equal to a distance between the cutting edge and the bottom surface, or is shorter than the distance between the cutting edge and the bottom surface.

    Abstract: A milling machine fly-cutter with adjustable cutting-tool geometric angle and milling machine includes a fly-cutter plate body, a plurality of combination grooves are evenly set in the circumferential direction of the fly-cutter plate body, and adjusting assemblies are mounted in the combination grooves. Wherein, the adjusting assemblies include an adjusting block for rake angle and relief angle, an adjusting block for tool cutting edge angle and minor cutting edge angle, an adjusting block for tool cutting edge inclination angle. A first side of the adjusting block is attached with a cutter handle, and a second side is connected with the adjusting block for rake angle and relief angle by the adjusting block for tool cutting edge angle and minor cutting edge angle.     Abstract: A coated tool includes a base and a coating layer on the base. The coating layer includes a cubic crystal that includes one or more kinds of elements selected from Groups 4, 5 and 6 in the periodic table, Al, Si, B, Y and Mn, and one or more kinds of elements selected from C, N and O. A maximum peak is in a range of 50° or more in a distribution of X-ray intensity (111) at α axis of a pole figure, the X-ray intensity regarding a (111) plane of the cubic crystal. The intensity at the maximum peak is Imax, a peak width at 0.8 Imax of the maximum peak is 20° or more, and the intensity at 90° is 0.78 Imax or more. A cutting tool includes a holder which includes a pocket at an end, and the coated tool in the pocket.

    Abstract: Large diameter edges formed in arc shapes having curvature radii larger than a ball radius are provided. This allows improving surface roughness of a machined surface by cutting of a planar surface with the respective large diameter edges compared with cutting of a planar surface with a ball end cutting edge formed in an arc shape having a single curvature radius. Further, since the respective large diameter edges are formed in the arc shape, compared with cutting of a curved surface with linear cutting edges, surface roughness of a machined surface can be improved by cutting a curved surface with the respective large diameter edges. Accordingly, a pick feed during the cutting of the planar surface and the curved surface with the respective large diameter edges can be increased, and therefore machining efficiency in the cutting of both of the planar surface and the curved surface can be improved.
