    摘要: A flanged inner ring for wheel hub bearings, the inner ring comprising a tubular body supporting the bearing, the body being coaxial with an axis (A), and a flange, which is transversal to the axis (A), the flange being provided with a plurality of threaded through holes that are distributed around the axis (A) and includes: —an outer annular mounting surface and an inner surface that is axially faced towards an outer ring of the bearing; the flange having a respective base axial thickness (SAF) and comprising for each threaded through hole, a respective radial arm which is arranged on the inner surface of the flange facing the outer ring; the inner ring being forged in one piece together with the flange and the radial arms. Between each pair of adjacent arms there is a flower-shaped sector with a chamfer made by forging along the outer surface thereof.

    摘要: An inner ring member having multiple flange portions is formed by cold forging. A tapered surface is formed in a state of a forged surface on the inner ring member so as to gradually increase in diameter from an inner side toward an outer side in a vehicle lateral direction over a region from a position near root portions of inner side faces of the flange portions in the vehicle lateral direction to a position radially outward of an outer periphery of an outer end portion of an outer ring member in the vehicle lateral direction. A seal member is attached to the outer periphery of the outer end portion of the outer ring member. A seal lip that is in sliding contact with the tapered surface in the state of a forged surface is formed at a distal end portion of the seal member.

    摘要: After a hub supporting member is mounted on an end portion of a spindle, correction work is applied to a ring-shaped supporting surface which is an end face of the hub supporting member, whereby perpendicularity of the supporting surface relative to a rotational center axis of the spindle is improved. Thereafter, while the hub main body is made to rotate together with the spindle in such a state that the mounting surface abuts with the supporting surface, grinding finishing work is applied to a cylindrical surface portion (a portion on which inner rings are fitted) of the hub main body. As a result, the perpendicularity of the mounting surface relative to the geometric center axis of the cylindrical surface portion is improved.
