摘要: A stamp tool assembly is provided that includes a forming cavity for shaping a blank into a formed part. The stamp tool assembly includes adjustable block assembly for modifying the amount of material draw-in from subsequently stamped blanks. A draw-in sensor measures the amount of material from the blanks that is not drawn-into the forming cavity during each stroke. Based on the readings from the draw-in sensor, the adjustable block assembly is expanded or reduced. The adjustable block assembly includes a pair of opposing inclined plates having interlocking teeth such that movement of one plate with respect to the other plate changes a vertical extension of the adjustable block assembly. The adjustable block assembly sets the spacing between two opposing draw-in surfaces, which, in turn, changes the amount of draw-in. Multiple adjustable block assemblies and draw-in sensors may be used in conjunction and controlled via a controlling system.

摘要: A method for operating a forming press which includes a plurality of press components and a plurality of tool components. The forming press has at least one force sensor and at least one force actuator, each arranged in a press and/or tool component. A forming simulation is carried out, which takes into consideration an elastic behavior of the press and/or tool components. Target values of forces acting on at least one press and/or tool component are determined by the forming simulation. A forming process is carried out by the forming press. During the forming process, actual values of forces acting on the press and/or tool components are measured by the force sensor and the force actuator is actuated via a control loop such that the actual values correspond to the target values from the forming simulation.

摘要: A deep-drawing tool for deep drawing blanks which are punched out of sheet material that is painted or coated with film material, in order to obtain flangeless molded blanks, includes a drawing bell, a drawing core, a blank holder, a force transmission device, a drawing cushion for applying a spring force to the blank holder by the force transmission device, and a drive which, after the drawing bell reaches a predetermined position in downward movement thereof, drives the force transmission device to perform a movement which precedes movement of the drawing bell.

摘要: A press forming method includes a first step of pinching one part of a metal sheet by means of a die and a pad, and a second step of moving a punch in a direction in which the punch approaches the die relatively to perform press forming on the metal sheet. The die has a first support surface which has an edge including a curved portion. The pad has a second support surface facing the first support surface of the die. The first support surface includes a first flat portion, and a first deformation portion which protrudes or is recessed with respect to the first flat portion. The second support surface includes a second flat portion which faces the first flat portion, and a second deformation portion which is recessed or protrudes with respect to the second flat portion so as to correspond to the first deformation portion. The first deformation portion is provided on a normal line of the curved portion as viewed from a pressing direction. When a space between the first deformation portion and the second deformation portion is assumed to be a deformation space, in the second step, press forming is performed so that portions of the metal sheet which are on both sides of the deformation space flow into the deformation space, and the metal sheet deforms along the first deformation portion and the second deformation portion in the deformation space.

摘要: A method for producing a can formed from a can part and a flange part is provided, the flange part being formed as an annular body and, on a side oriented inward toward an axis of symmetry of the annular body, an interface forming a bearing for the can part. A base and a lateral wall are formed on the can part, and the can part is deep drawn and made into a target geometry with a defined wall thickness by virtue of the lateral wall being flow formed. The lateral wall has a formed interface with a material thickness greater than the wall thickness of the lateral wall, and the flange part is connected to the can part at the interface.

摘要: A manufacturing method includes a preparing step, an intermediate pressing step, a heating step, and a hot stamping step. In the preparing step, a blank is prepared. In the intermediate pressing step, press working is applied to the blank to produce an intermediate formed product. In the heating step, the intermediate formed product is heated. In the hot stamping step, press working is applied to the intermediate formed product to produce a panel-like formed product. In the hot stamping step, a machine including a first die, a second die, a punch, and a blank holder is used. While the intermediate formed product is pinched between the first die and the punch, the second die and the blank holder are moved relative to the first die and the punch, and thereby, the panel-like formed product is produced.

摘要: A sheet metal material is stamped into a formed shape having a side wall between a central portion and a flange portion. The central portion is held between an upper pad and a die, and the flange portion is held between an upper binder and a lower binder. A post-stamping compression force is applied along a length of the side wall of the formed shape. For example, application of the post-stamping compression force includes moving the lower binder relatively toward the upper pad, such as by delaying a return of the upper pad during a portion of a return of the lower binder. During application of the post-stamping compression force, an outward force is applied against an inner surface of the side wall to insure any bowing of the side wall is in an outward direction.

摘要: A frozen forming method for a large-size thin-walled aluminum alloy component using an aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate is described. An aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate is cooled to a temperature with a cryogenic fluid medium, and temperature of a weld zone is regulated to be lower than that of a base metal zone; and the component is fabricated by a tool integrally with aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate, by placing aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate onto tool; assembling tool and filling with cryogenic fluid medium so temperature of tool is −150 to −196 degrees Celsius; and apply pressure to deform the aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate when temperature of a weld zone reaches −150 degrees Celsius to −196 degrees Celsius, thereby facilitating forming the aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate to a designed shape of the aluminum alloy component; and disassembling the tool, and taking out the aluminum alloy component.
