摘要： A device retention mechanism suitable for mounting a device in a chassis includes a chassis suitable for receiving a device. The chassis has a first side and a second side, the first side oriented generally perpendicular to the second side. A retention member is mounted to the first side of the chassis to enable the retention member to exert a force against a device, thereby applying the force from the retention member to the device and to the second side of the chassis, thereby securing the device in the chassis.

摘要： A portable computer assembly includes a battery module mounted detachably on a keyboard module which includes a keyboard housing formed with a slot that is accessible from bottom and rear sides of the keyboard housing and that has a first electrical connector unit disposed therein. The battery module includes an elongated battery housing with a second electrical connector unit for engaging the first electrical connector unit. First and second mounting units are provided on opposite ends of the battery housing and have cylindrical studs for coupling pivotally with left and right side walls of the keyboard housing. The stud of the second mounting unit is capable of disengaging the keyboard housing when a press button of the second mounting unit is operated.

摘要： An enclosure is disclosed for housing multiple electronic devices. In one embodiment, the enclosure includes a chassis having a floor and opposing sidewalls. Discrete first and second midplanes, each having an opening formed therein, may be disposed in an interior portion of the chassis on opposite sides of a divider wall. The first and second midplanes may be configured to mate to at least one air displacement unit on a back surface of the associated midplane and to mate to at least one device sled on a front surface of the associated midplane. An opening is formed in each midplane adjacent the associated air displacement unit to permit air to pass through the opening.

The first portion of the plate is moved out of the front face of the frame and is rotated downward via the linking element. In this position, the cage is readily accessible.

摘要： The present invention proposes an extracting and positioning structure for a hard disk drive suitable to an industrial computer. In the present invention, two side frame boards to fix at least a hard disk drive are installed on a frame of a computer. Latticed partitioning plates are installed on the frame boards. The present invention has at least an extractable case with fixing bars installed at two sides thereof to fix a hard disk drive therein. A U-shaped plate is installed at each side of the front half section of the extractable case. Pivotal holes are respectively disposed at the top and bottom surfaces of the U-shape plate to pivotally connect a spindle protruding out of the top and bottom surfaces of a pivotal retaining element. A fixing shaft protruding out of the top and bottom surfaces at the other end of the pivotal retaining element. A slide lever is transversely arranged in the U-shaped plate at the front end of the extractable case. Transverse grooves extend from the side end surfaces at the two ends of the slide lever, respectively. Slide grooves are disposed in the transverse grooves to pivotally connect the fixing shaft to push the slide lever backwards. The other end of the pivotal retaining element will thus be pushed out of a groove hole at the side surface of the U-shaped plate and a retaining groove at the other end of the pivotal retaining element will be secured on the side frame boards. The extractable case of the hard disk drive can be extracted out by pulling the slide lever forwards.
