Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for service policy orchestration in a communication network. An orchestration of a distributed event policy may be initiated at a service policy execution factory (SPEF). The initiating may include selecting a service event object with an associated unique service instance identifier and an associated unique service event identifier; defining service requirements that may include or relate to one or more of type of an event, a criticality, a lifetime, and generic service execution rule(s); including the service requirements in the service event object; and sending the service event object and the unique service instance ID to a service policy orchestration factory (SPOF) for performing one or more actions relating to the orchestration of the distributed event policy. In response to receiving an SPOF feedback message that indicates a successful updating of the event repository, the orchestration of the distributed event policy may be terminated.

Abstract: Simultaneous dual band operation (2.4 and 5 GHz) is common in APs on the market today, and tri-band devices are expected in the market soon. Link aggregation can also be applicable to multiple air interfaces in the same band (for instance 2 independent IEEE 802.1 lac/ax air interfaces at 5 GHz on 2 different 80 MHz channels). One exemplary aspect provides technology that enables significantly higher throughput and/or higher reliability for two stations (STAs) or a STA and the access point (AP) when the devices support simultaneous multi-band operation.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a network management system for managing a logical network that spans multiple physical sites. The network management system includes a global network manager for receiving global logical network configuration data for the multiple physical sites. The network management system includes, at each of the physical sites, (i) a local network manager for receiving a logical network configuration for the physical site from the global network manager and (ii) a set of central controllers for distributing logical network configuration data to computing devices that implement the logical network at the physical site.

Abstract: A process for monitoring a 5G data and telephone network can include starting a first instance and a second instance of a network function in a virtual private cloud (VPC). The first instance uses a first user account, and the second instance uses a second user account. A first log includes entries associated with the first instance in response to activities of the first user account. A second log includes entries associated with the second instance in response to activities of the second user account. The first log and second log go to a log destination of a centralized cloud account. A data stream comprising transformed data from the log destination goes into a bucket associated with the centralized cloud account. A query selects a data set from the bucket that includes attributes associated with network activities of the first and second user accounts.

Abstract: A system and method for dynamically creating distributed, self-adjusting and optimizing core network with machine learning is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request to access one or more services and establishing a secure real time communication session with one or more client devices and a set of service layers based on the received request. The method further includes determining one or more service parameters based on the received request and sending one or more handshake messages to each of the set of service layers. Further, the method includes determining one or more environmental parameters and determining best possible service layer capable of processing the received request by using a trained service based ML model. The method includes processing the request at the determined best possible service layer and terminating or transferring the secure real time communication session after the request is processed.

Abstract: An example method for a programmable infrastructure gateway for enabling hybrid cloud services in a network environment is provided and includes receiving an instruction from a hybrid cloud application executing in a private cloud, interpreting the instruction according to a hybrid cloud application programming interface, and executing the interpreted instruction in a public cloud using a cloud adapter. The method is generally executed in the infrastructure gateway including a programmable integration framework allowing generation of various cloud adapters using a cloud adapter software development kit, the cloud adapter being generated and programmed to be compatible with a specific public cloud platform of the public cloud. In specific embodiments, identical copies of the infrastructure gateway can be provided to different cloud service providers who manage disparate public cloud platforms; each copy of the infrastructure gateway can be programmed differently to generate corresponding cloud adapters compatible with the respective public cloud platforms.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for providing a user interface (UI) for a network management application. The method provides a first UI for accessing a global network manager through the network management application to configure a global logical network spanning multiple physical sites. For each respective site, the method provides an additional UI for accessing a respective local network manager for the site (i) to modify the global logical network at the respective site and (ii) to configure a local logical network at the respective site. The method provides a UI item for toggling between the first UI and the additional UIs. Multiple UI items available in the first UI are also available in the additional UIs.
