摘要: A fuel cell interconnect includes fuel ribs disposed on a first side of the interconnect and a least partially defining fuel channels, and air ribs disposed on an opposing second side of the interconnect and at least partially defining air channels. The fuel channels include central fuel channels disposed in a central fuel field and peripheral fuel channels disposed in peripheral fuel fields disposed on opposing sides of the central fuel field. The air channels include central air channels disposed in a central air field and peripheral air channels disposed in peripheral air fields disposed on opposing sides of the central air field. At least one of the central fuel channels or the central air channels has at least one of a different cross-sectional area or length than at least one of the respective peripheral fuel channels or the respective peripheral air channels.

摘要: An assembly arrangement of solid oxide cells in a fuel cell system or in an electrolyzer cell system is disclosed which includes cells arranged at least to four angles and at least one cell stack formation. At least one substantially plain attachment side of each at least four angled stack formation includes at least one geometrically deviating attachment surface structure in the otherwise substantially plain side between at least two corners of the at least four angled stack formation. At least one flow restriction structure restricts air flows in the cell system to be mounted against the geometrically deviating attachment surface structure of each stack formation to attach at least one cell stack formation in the assembly arrangement. An electrical insulation is arranged to the attachment of the flow restriction structure and the stack formation.

摘要: An electrochemical device may be formed by assembly by stacking preassembled modules, each of these modules being produced as a usual stack of electrochemical cells. The manufacture of preassembled modules can make it possible to produce electrochemical devices with a large number of electrochemical cells, without the bracing problems present and excessive crushing courses that are encountered in the cell stacks according to the prior art, i.e., in a single block.

摘要: A fuel cell single unit including: a fuel cell element in which an anode layer and a cathode layer are formed so as to sandwich an electrolyte layer; a reducing gas supply path for supplying a gas containing hydrogen to the anode layer; an oxidizing gas supply path for supplying a gas containing oxygen to the cathode layer; and an internal reforming catalyst layer, which has a reforming catalyst for steam-reforming a fuel gas, in at least a part of the reducing gas supply path is provided. An external reformer, which has a reforming catalyst for steam-reforming the fuel gas, is provided upstream of the reducing gas supply path, and the fuel gas partially reformed by the external reformer is supplied to the reducing gas supply path.

摘要: A system is described that is capable of operating as an energy conversion system that functions as a fuel cell and generates electrical current from a fuel or fuels, or as a reactor for conversion of starter materials into more complex molecules through ion-ion and ion-molecules and which may preferably be adapted to operate as a gas to liquid (GTL) process. The system ionises at least one fuel or starter material and manipulates, selects and transports ions for reaction by means of suitable electrostatic or electrodynamic ion guides, filters or drift tubes. The system of the present application replaces the electrolyte, catalyst and/or membrane found in classic fuel cells or GTL processes with an electrostatic or electrodynamic ion manipulation region such as an ion guide, analyser, drift tube or filter.

摘要: A porous molding for an electrochemical module. The electro-chemical module has at least one electrochemical cell unit having a layer construction with at least one electrochemically active layer, and a metallic, gastight housing which forms a gastight process gas space with the electrochemical cell unit. The housing extends on at least one side beyond the region of the electrochemical cell unit, and forms a process gas conduction space open to the electrochemical cell unit, and in the region of the process gas conduction space has at least one gas passage opening for the supply and/or removal of the process gases. The porous molding is formed as a separate component of the electrochemical cell unit and is configured for arrangement within the process gas conduction space and also for support of the housing on both sides along a stack direction of the electrochemical module.

摘要: Plant for the conversion of biogas into a chemical product with a high added value, selected among methanol, dimethyl ether, formaldehyde, acetic acid by a process comprising the following steps: a) reforming by converting methane and carbon dioxide contained in the biogas into syngas, b) synthesis of methanol by using syngas from step a), b′) synthesis of one of the aforesaid chemical products: formaldehyde, dimethyl ether or acetic acid by using methanol from step b) c) optional purification and separation of said chemical product, characterized in that the reaction section in which the steps b) and b′) are carried out or a part of it is replaceable with a further and different whole section or section part, in order to obtain one of the aforesaid chemical products different from the one obtained before said substitution. This plant can convert almost all or all the CO2 produced in biogas plants into CO and subsequently into one or more chemical products with a high added value with revenues comparable to, if not higher than, those of traditional plants only obtainable thanks to incentives.The plant is energy self-sustainable thanks to the use of its effluents for the production of energy and heat.
