Abstract: A targeting receiver operates with beam emitters. Each emitter generates coherent beams directed towards a target as a composite beam having an associated signature. For each composite beam, the target reflects a proportion of radiation intensity as a reflected radiation component. A receiver telescope collects target-reflected radiation and directs the radiation to a spatial filter. The reflected radiation includes radiation components, at least some of which are combined as a combined radiation composed of the reflected radiation components. Intensity of the combined radiation indicates the intensity of the composite beams impinging on the target. The spatial filter filters the reflected radiation by selectively passing the combined radiation. Each component of the combined radiation is identifiable by the signature associated with the composite beam corresponding to the component of the combined radiation. In certain embodiments, a distinguishing module is associated with the receiver and distinguishes the components based on the signature.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described which provide a film through scope camera mount including a housing that includes a beam splitter, first and second mirrors, and a sensor. The camera mount system may receive an input optical signal from a first direction; split the input optical signal using the beam splitter such that a first portion of the input optical signal may be communicated out of the camera mount system in a second direction and a second portion of the input optical signal may be reflected lateral to the first direction; reflect the reflected signal vertically using the first mirror; reflect the vertically reflected signal in a second lateral direction using the second mirror; and receive the signal reflected by the second mirror in the sensor, which may comprise a visible light sensor and/or an infrared sensor.

Abstract: It comprises optical assemblies that focus light onto individual first optical fibers which are combined together in a final single optical fiber, collecting a considerable amount of light from a target, to feed an instrument such as a spectrograph. The first optical fibers are kept centred on the target through image devices that also provide images, and these images can be combined to give rise to a high-quality image of the field surrounding the target. The final effective aperture of the device is scalable, using different numbers of optical assemblies and depending on their diameters.

Abstract: An endoscope or other endoscopic instrument is provided with multiple image sensors incorporated into the distal tip, each capturing a portion of the image provided from an optical imaging system. The output from the multiple sensors is combined and manipulated into a single image of a resolution higher than is possible with only one of the sensors. The resulting image, or a portion thereof, can then be displayed to the user. A digital panning feature is also provided where the region of interest displayed from the combined field of view including data from the multiple image sensors is changed.
