    摘要: The temperature Recording instrument contains the usual thermal measuring system consisting of a bellows assembly, a temperature sensitive bulb and capillary tubing between the bellows and bulb and a recording system including a marking element which is responsive to the energization of the bellows for permanently indicating the temperature sensed by the bulb on chart paper mounted on a base plate located in the instrument housing. A fulcrum having an axis extends through the base plate and carries a bracket which is provided with one slot or with a pair of slots on opposite sides of the axis. A spool is located in one or the other of the slots. An adjusting screw is carried by the bracket and is threadedly connected to the spool. Rotation of the adjusting screw is effective to move the spool in the corresponding slot relative to the fulcrum's axis. The marking element is located on the chart side of the base plate and is secured to the bracket. The bellows includes a movable element engageable with the spool. Energization of the bellows is effective to move the movable element which engages the spool and rotate the bracket about the fulcrum resulting in the movement of the marking element in one direction across the chart. If a second slot is provided in the bracket, the spool may be located therein, with the movable element of the bellows engaging same to effect rotation of the bracket and the movement of the marking element in the opposite direction across the chart.

    摘要: A temperature profile detector comprising a surrounding length of metal tubing and an interior electrical conductor both constructed of high temperature high electrical resistance materials. A plurality of gas-filled expandable bellows made of electrically conductive material is electrically connected to the interior electrical conductor and positioned within the length of metal tubing. The bellows are sealed and contain a predetermined volume of a gas designed to effect movement of the bellows from an open circuit condition to a closed circuit condition in response to monitored temperature changes sensed by each bellows.

    摘要: A temperature or pressure sensor that produces a hydraulic pressure signal proportional to temperature or pressure. The sensor or transducer utilizes a plurality of bellows acting on a valve nozzle plate so that the temperature signal which is a gas pressure moves the nozzle plate to control the flow through the nozzle as a function of temperature thus producing a metered pressure proportional to temperature. The bellows are arranged to minimize temperature error in the transducer. Where the temperature sensed is engine inlet temperature the metered pressure may be used to control the fuel through the turbine engine as a function of the engine inlet temperature. This same device is equally utilized in measuring a pressure, such as compressor discharge pressure.
