摘要: Controlling the operation of a hydrocyclone to maintain the hydrocyclone in a desired operational state as it separates a pumped fluid into an overflow stream and an underflow stream is described. The method comprises measuring vibrations of the hydrocyclone at a selected frequency within a predetermined frequency range; comparing a characteristic of the measured vibrations at the selected frequency with a plurality of values representing transitions between different operational states of the hydrocyclone to identify a current operational state of the hydrocyclone; and generating an adjustment setting to change the identified current operational state to the desired operational state, where the adjustment setting increases or decreases a pumped fluid parameter.

摘要: A dynamic characteristic measurement device of the present invention includes magnetic force generators (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b) arranged on the back surface side of impellers (4, 5), the magnetic force generators that oscillate the impellers (4, 5) with magnetic force, an oscillation controller (12) that drives these magnetic force generators, and vibration sensors (13, 14) that detect vibration of a rotation shaft (3). The dynamic characteristic measurement device further includes an arithmetic device (16) that calculates a dynamic characteristic of a rotor (6) by implementing a frequency analysis and a mode analysis based on an oscillation signal from the oscillation controller (12) and a vibration signal from the vibration sensors (13, 14).

摘要: An improved system and method for analyzing motor performance to detect vibration of an electric machine controlled by a motor drive is disclosed. A load observer determines an estimated torque present as a load on the motor as a function of input signals corresponding to a desired torque to be generated by the motor and to a measured angular position of the motor during operation. The motor drive determines a frequency response of the estimated torque to identify at what magnitude and frequency any vibration components are present within the estimated torque signal. The motor drive compares the frequency response of the estimated torque signal to set points. If the measured magnitude of vibration at a particular frequency, as seen in the frequency response, exceeds a threshold set in one of the set points for that frequency, the motor drive generates an output signal indicating an excessive vibration is present.

The impact between the golf ball and the surface may be measured based on sound and/or motion sensors (e.g., gyroscopes, accelerometers, etc.). Based on motion and/or sound data, various equipment-related information including golf ball compression, club head speed and impact location may be derived. Such information and/or other types of data may be conveyed to a user to help improve performance, aid in selecting golf equipment and/or to insure quality of golfing products.

A nozzle is mounted on the rotary disk and is provided with a movable joint. 摘要: The invention is concerned with a method and apparatus for real time analysis of gas mixtures, e g determination of air quality, including at least one resonator (1, 11), means for gas transportation to and from the resonator (1, 11), e g by diffusion or transit flow via openings (5) means for activation (2) and detection (3) of an acoustic signal within the resonator (1, 11), at least one means (7) for measurement of the temperature within the resonator (1, 11), and at least one means (4) for the determination of both the resonance frequency and the quality factor of the resonator (1,11) in real time. These entities are related to the average molecular mass and viscosity or thermal conductivity, respectively, of the gas mixture. The resonator (1, 11 may include a compliant element, e g a constricted volume (6) and an inertial element, e g ist opening (5) or may support standing acoustic waves, in which the sound wavelength is related to a physical dimension of the resonator (1, 11). The determination of resonance frequency and quality factor is preferably based on phase detection within a phase locked loop and is thereby independent of magnitude. In addition to self oscillations at a frequency determined by the resonance frequency, a repetitive frequency modulation is being generated by which a quantity representing the quality factor of the resonator (1, 11) is being generated in real time. Furthermore, means (7) for compensation of temperature or pressure dependence of the resonance frequency or quality factor are included. By an arithmetic-logical unit, e g a microprocessor (9, 17), measured values related to air quality, e g carbon dioxide concentration, relative humidity and temperature are being made available.

摘要: The tubes of tube and shell heat exchangers destructively vibrate at certain velocities with which fluid flows over their outside surfaces. An acoustic generator is positioned to respond to the fluid vibrations generated by the tubes. The structure of the acoustic generator is sized and arranged to produce a modulated tone representative of tube vibration. A detector mounted external the heat exchanger shell responds to the tone to initiate corrective action which will reduce the tube vibration.

摘要: A musical instrument includes a multiplicity of circular endless magnetizable tapes with a plurality of different tracks, a multiplicity of pick-up heads for each of the tracks and a multiplicity of variable-gain amplifiers connected to the tracks, respectively. Keys having respective contact means for energizing each of the amplifiers, cause a multiplicity of magnetic elements to generate respective voltages in coils, each voltage being proportional to the force with which an individual key has been depressed. This voltage sets the gain of a respective amplifier, so that the loudness of a recorded tone heard is proportional to the actuating force of a key.
