    摘要: The invention relates to a combined heat exchanger and fluid filter that can be used in a gas turbine engine for example to simultaneously filter lubricating oil and fuel while transferring thermal energy between the oil and fuel. Conventionally, fuel and oil filters as well as a heat exchanger are separately mounted in an engine with a multitude of pipes conducting fluids between them. The invention packages these components together and achieves several benefits as a results, including: reduction in number of parts, cost of manufacture and installation; containment of the risk of damage or leakage; ease of access for assembly, inspection and maintenance; and simple application to a number of different engines by merely extending the length of the filters/exchanger on a standard manifold design.

    摘要: A cooler for an electronic device of the present invention is provided with a heatsink and a cross flow blower with an electric motor. The heatsink comprises a base and heat exchanging means made as flat disks, fins or flat plates. The base provides thermal contact with the electronic device and the heat exchanging means. The cross flow blower comprises a drum type impeller with an axis of rotation substantially normal to the base. The flat disks substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation and located inside of the drum type impeller. The fins or flat plates substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation and located outside of said drum type impeller. The heatsink further comprises heat-spreading means that provide thermal contact between the base and the flat disks and flat plates. The heat-spreading means may be heat-pipes.

    摘要: A new fin pattern of a ribbed vortex generator for use in an air conditioner or heat exchanger. It has multiple protruding turbulent prisms placed around a round tube on a radiation fin. Each protruding turbulent prism is strip rib-shaped 3D structure with one end higher and the other end lower. Each of the multiple protruding turbulent prisms is placed around the round tube at proper intervals, and oriented to the direction that fluid flows. The higher ends of a first pair of prisms are placed on the front end entrance of the round tube and the higher ends of a second pair of prisms are placed on the exit, which improves the heat transfer but causes little pressure drop-off.

The heat exchange elements have heat transfer surfaces that define at least one air flow passage through the heat exchanger that is non-perpendicularly aligned with the conduit.
