摘要: The present disclosure solves the problem of solar energy capture and storage for solar power generating devices. This power system does not rely on batteries to accomplish energy generation during nighttime operating hours or during cloudy days. Solar energy is collected in a chamber equipped with opposing parabolic mirrors and a gaseous medium. The solar energy collector traps the majority of incoming sunlight and, through the processes of thermal radiation, heat conduction, and heat convection, converts said sunlight into useable heat energy. The heated gaseous medium is pumped to a Stirling engine for the purpose of conversion to mechanical power.

摘要: A thermoelectric generator consists of circuits arranged in parallel rows, in which thermocouples in adjacent rows are facing each other by the same-named junctions, forming alternating narrow zones of hot and cold junctions. At least one of the layers is a layer of thermal energy thermocouples, the repeatability of the rows of circuits of which is two times less than the repeatability of the rows of circuits of thermocouples generating electricity. Hot and cold zones between the rows of thermocouple circuits of all layers of thermocouples generating electricity and hot and cold junctions of the rows of thermocouple circuits of thermal energy are superimposed, respectively, by tight contact on each other by junctions and substrates, ensuring internal heat exchange between them. In addition, the generator is provided with an external heat supply circuit to the hot zone area and a heat removal circuit from the cold zone area.

摘要: A novel method is described for room heating using stored solar heat. Solar heat is stored in an insulated tank by using scrap and inexpensive heat absorbing or heat storing materials. Stored heat can then be extracted by air circulation for room heating. The temperature of the room air is controlled by a thermostat. When the room temperature drops below the set point on the thermostat, a circulating air pump turns on and extract the solar heat until the room temperature air reaches the desired set temperature. Once room temperature reaches the set point in the thermostat, the air circulation pump turns off.

摘要: An example light concentrator system for precision thermal processes includes a stabilizing base and a structure attached to the stabilizing base. The structure includes support arms. An azimuth control rotates the structure. A primary solar collector on the support arms is rotatable about two axes based on various positions of the sun throughout the day. Elevation actuators adjust an angle of the primary solar collector relative to position of the sun. Collector distancing actuators adjust distance of the primary solar collector toward and away from the sun. A variety of Thermal Processing Units (TPUs) are configured for a specific process or set of processes implementing concentrated solar energy from the primary solar collector at the receiver plane. Position of the spot can be moved on a fixed receiver plane through translation of the lens relative to the support arms or through rotation of a redirecting mirror.

摘要: A protective transparent enclosure (such as a glasshouse or a greenhouse) encloses a concentrated solar power system. The concentrated solar power system includes one or more solar concentrators and one or more solar receivers. Thermal power is provided to an industrial process, electrical power is provided to an electrical distribution grid, or both. In some embodiments, the solar concentrators are parabolic trough concentrators with one or more lateral extensions. In some embodiments, the lateral extension is a unilateral extension of the primary parabolic trough shape. In some embodiments, the lateral extensions are movably connected to the primary portion. In some embodiments, the lateral extensions have a focal line separate from the focal line of the base portion. In some embodiments, the greenhouse is a Dutch Venlo style greenhouse.

摘要: A continuous flow treatment apparatus comprises a heating fluid management portion and a feces treatment portion. The heating fluid management portion is configured to heat heating fluid and provide the heated heating fluid to a heat exchanger. The feces treatment portion comprises the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is configured to receive feces at a first position of the heat exchanger, indirectly heat the feces via the heated heating fluid as the feces are transported from the first position to a second position of the heat exchanger, and provide the heated feces at the second position. The feces are maintained at a minimum temperature for a predetermined amount of time such that the feces exiting the feces treatment portion have been rendered sanitary for at least one of storage or further processing.

The retaining device includes a tube clamp made of two tube clamp halves, which have a main part with a retaining feature. The tube clamp surrounds the metal tube in the mounted state, and the retaining feature rests against the exterior of the metal tube. A thermal radiation shield is arranged on the interior of the main part of the tube clamp in order to reduce the loss of heat at the ends of the metal tube of the absorber tube.
