Abstract:
An eccentric gear for transferring a torque in one single step and at a high gear ratio, from a driving element to a driven element. In a stationary housing there is an outer gear ring which co-operates with an inner gear ring which in turn is co-rotatively connected to the driven element that is mounted in bearings via a stationary bearing. The inner gear ring is eccentrically movable to generate along the outer gear ring, while only some teeth are in engagement with the outer gear ring. Thereby, the inner gear ring, which performs a nutating motion, is connected to a thin rod which at a free end has a male element that is in engagement with a seat formed with an analogous cross-sectional shape located deeply within the driven element. By this construction, the gear attains an extremely short length of construction, at the same time as the sound level during operation is reduced.
Abstract:
A simple planetary gear mechanism is provided with an automatic alignment function to support the planet gear to obtain a speed reducer having reduced backlash by a simple method. A planet gear is supported by a carrier pin that is in turn supported by a carrier. The carrier pin includes a crank portion that is eccentric by “e” relative to the axis center of the carrier pin with the eccentric angle being made variable. The planet gear is supported rotatably about the axis center of the crank portion. Consequently, with the eccentric angle being made variable, the axis center of the planet gear is automatically aligned in the radial direction upon assembly of each gear, thereby making it possible to minimize backlash only by incorporating a sun gear having a proper dimension.
Abstract:
Continuously variable speed power transmission with integrated motor/generator components. The transmission has an input member rotatable about an input axis, an output member rotatable about an output axis, a reaction control rotor with integrated motor/generator components for selective rotation about the input axis, a pericyclic motion converter mounted for nutational motion about the input axis, and a control means for selectively adjusting the rate of rotation of the reaction control rotor relative to the input member. The continuously variable speed power transmission with integrated motor/generator components can be located in a vehicle wheel hub.
Abstract:
An eccentric gear for providing a speed difference between two machine elements which are rotatably journalled in relation to a reference member and individually rotatable around a symmetry axis. The gear includes two pairs of co-operating gear rims, one of which in each pair is eccentric in relation to the axis and one of which is in the form of a male gear rim with out-turned teeth, and the other one is a female gear rim with in-turned teeth. One of the gear rims in each pair is rigidly connected to a homologous gear rim in the other pair of gear rims and situated along a common axis that is eccentric and oblique in relation to the axis while the other gear rims are rotatable in relation to each other.
Abstract:
A transmission provided with an input shaft and an output shaft supported on a first axis so as to freely rotate. The transmission is also provided with a transmission eccentric shaft mounted on the input shaft so as to freely rotate, the eccentric shaft having a declination axis crossing the first axis with a predetermined angle; a transmission input plate mounted on the transmission eccentric shaft so as to freely rotate around the declination axis; and an output eccentric shaft supported on an end portion of the input shaft on the output shaft side so as to freely rotate, where the output eccentric shaft is arranged on the declination axis. A casing portion is mounted on the output eccentric shaft so as to rotate around the declination axis and is provided with a revolution force around the first axis by contact with the transmission input plate, a universal joint portion having a joint main body connecting the casing portion with the input shaft, and a transmission apparatus for changing the revolution speed of the transmission input plate by rotation of the transmission eccentric shaft, are provided. The output shaft is unitedly attached to the output eccentric shaft.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a gear motor which is easy to install and which due to its especially flat design can be utilized in various ways also in narrow spaces. To this end, the gearmotor is provided on one side of a wheel-shaped housing base body with an especially short motor and on the opposite side and in a coaxial relation thereto with a reducing gear. The main gear drive element can be configured integrally with the motor shaft and with a circular disk as the line support for the disk-shaped rotor by plastic injection molding. The track of said line support is introduced in the disk surface as an electroconductive lining by way of MID technology.
