    摘要: A bearing body is provided. The bearing body includes first and second support surfaces inclined so as to slope upward from a side on the imaginary central vertical plane passing through an axis of a rotating shaft to be supported toward one and the other outer sides in the width direction of the rotating shaft. First and second transitional regions that respectively make transitions from the first and second support surfaces to a first and end surface of the bearing body on one side in the axial direction of the rotating shaft have a curved shape projecting obliquely upward such that an orientation of a normal line changes from a perpendicular direction to a parallel direction with respect to the axis of the rotating shaft toward one side from the other side in the axial direction of the rotating shaft.

    摘要: A parabolic-trough solar power plant includes at least one solar panel that has a shaft part supported by at least one bearing assembly configured to pivot the solar panel through a pivot angle about the longitudinal axis. The bearing assembly includes a support element with two support sections and a space therebetween, a chain element supported by the support sections, and a plurality of roller elements supported in the chain element along its longitudinal extension for rotation about an axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal axis. Ends of the chain element are attached to the support sections by bearings that permit pivoting of the chain element relative to the support sections about a compensation axis horizontal, and in projection, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shaft part. The roller elements are disposed at hinge points between pairs of the links in the chain.

    摘要: The device for temporary repair of auger carrier bearings is an assembly used to serve as a temporary to semi-permanent replacement for the carrier bearings of auger rotary shafts. The assembly comprises a U-bolt having threaded legs and a flat strap having two openings that are aligned with the threaded legs of the U-bolt. The points of contact between the auger rotary shaft and the assembly are the middle of the strap and the arch of the U-bolt. To these points are attached pads of self-lubricating plastic to provide a low friction interface between the assembly and the auger rotary shaft. The device for temporary repair of auger carrier bearings hangs from a plate that spans the tray of the auger and has two openings that correspond to the legs of the U-bolt.

    摘要: An apparatus for reliably and efficiently propelling a printing substrate across a printing platen by use of the known roller/nip roller configuration wherein an improved, unitary slider bearing preferably formed of low friction material is coupled to an axial shaft at two points of contact to a upper crown of a slider bearing. The improved bearing is preferably constructed of teflon, or similar low friction material, impregnated resin and formed to create a friction fit in an aperture in a printing platen of a print engine. The improved bearing allows use of a lower cost, less-toleranced axial drive shaft members and eliminates use of typical ball-bearing style bearing assemblies as well as greatly reduces assembly time of the roller, nip roller, axial shaft combination during initial build of the print engine. The improved bearing preferably includes a debris cut-out so that any debris that might collect inside the bearing structure (between the axial shaft/roller and bottom portion of the bearing) can escape without causing any mechanical abrasion to the components of the improved bearing.
